I own this tool. My employees absolutely hate it!! Miss fires a lot, it's fricken heavy for the size and I want to remove the safety spring because you have to push the nose of the gun in way to hard to get it to fire

I think it was made in Japan but the difference between the Ridgid and Metabo HPT is the latter is made with the professional in mind and a well built gun with a life time warranty compared to Ridgid that doesn't not and is made with home own maybe. The Ryobi is a proven commodity over the Ridgid so something to consider.

Do you have a video showing the 18V going head to head with this 36V? I am curious what is worth the money more.
I do not. But the basic difference is the size of the rafter hook and recycling time is slightly better on the multivolt. Otherwise same tool.

Looks like there is screw holes on opposite side for rafter hook.
The size of these things.... 10 years time we will look back and laugh.
