Orotone - Removing Old Emulsion

Glass plates can be reused time and time again but you will need to clean them. The albumen emulsion can be a bit stubborn to remove. Using a blade can scratch the glass and an acidic solution can be more hassle than its worth. A teaspoon of Sodium Carbonate in some warm water is a very easy method and one that requires minimum effort.
