I swear I think that overlap grip hurts people's accuracy and raw power. Your right hand is dominant and you only use thumb and pointer with that grip. I believe that grip is mainly for a cut swing. I've tried it, just doesn't make sense to me. I hang a pinky off with both hands. Gets about an inch lower for leverage but still have all power and accuracy and can cut the ball well.
Yeah it definitely takes some getting used to. For me it adds more whip and wrist snap at the end of my swing. It’s taken me about 6 months of working on it to the point where I’m comfortable to use it live. It’s definitely not for everyone though. I still can’t use it with heavier bats with big endload.

I’ve had my fair share of bad ones that break super quick. Definitely hit them up and let them know what happened and hopefully they can get it switched out or at least provide some insight.
All three are awesome options. The Monsta and LS are definitely easier to obtain, but I’d standing out for using something different is priority the the Proton is a no brainer. I have a discount code “BatFlip” if you decide to go that way, saves you 20% i believe.

I just know what to expect. In this instance, If I’m just looking for a base hit, genesis because the sweet spot is bigger, if I need a dinger, I’m going Proton just because it has a little more ooomph behind it.
So the barrels are the same, I think if you can hit a 1-piece consistently you'll probably squeak out a tiny bit more performance but both are very similar.
yeah, the Genesis has seams on both sides of the barrel but they are fairly small compared to others i've seen. The Proton has some webbing, but that's all.

The difference in exit velo was negligible in my mind, but the Proton did take it even if it was only 1mph.
the Genny's sound terrible!!! it sounds like it broke first swing, and i have plenty of teammates who have had multiple replacements sent to them within the year warranty for cracks, way too fragile. the Proton series 2 is gas. 250 out the wrapper. #SwingProton
Yeah the LS has a very distinct sound for sure. The Proton is definitely a hot bat, unfortunately mine cracked about 100 hits later. But I'm still a huge fan, for me I'm #SwingProton and #SwingtheLou, I love them both.

Really comes down to personal preference. I generally like 1-piece bats just because I enjoy the extra feedback, but they both feel great.

PB with the KB24 is 102 and that 100 is PB with the Proton. All time PB is with an APG 3.0 and 104.
what do you use to track the exit velo?
I just use the Pocket Radar Smart Coach connected to a bluetooth speaker through my phone.
