Happy Armed Forces Day, 2024! Celebrated on the third Saturday in May, Armed Forces Day honors the devotion and sacrifices of all people who are currently serving in the United States military. This holiday originated from the consolidation of the Armed Forces under a singular Department of Defense in 1949, replacing separate Army, Navy, and Air Force Days.
