- ✨Blue Spirulina Hair Grease✨
Hair grease has always been one of my favorite products to use on my natural hair. It keeps my hair hydrated for longer periods of time by locking in moisture on my wash day.
🧖🏽♀️LINK FOR HAIR STEAMER : amzn.to/3oX5I7T
✨How to use: ✨
💙 make sure hair is freshly washed
💙 I always like to use a hair steamer but if you don't have one that's totally fine
💙 Make sure your hair has in leave in conditioner
💙 apply grease to damp ends and twists hair
✨Benefits ✨
seals moisture into your hair for long periods of time
I personally like to add grease to my hair as I'm hair steaming to lock all that moisture in. My hair gets dried up by the 2nd of 3rd day but with grease I can go a week & more and my hair still feels amazingly soft and hydrated.
✏️Reminder: Always patch test before you try a new treatment on your scalp just to be safe📓

I been switched back to using grease. My hair grew like a weed as a child when my momma would use grease on my hair. Idk why we got away from it soo much.
Natural Hair warriors 😅, kept making demands on what we should do and shouldn't
That's what I'm saying...I've been back to grease and it's doing better!!!
Was it Blue Magic
@@YourOpinionIsNotFact that or the bronner brothers hair grease
*No one made it a rule to get rid of grease.*
Someone put their thoughts out there and other people ran with them. But it was never a demand or a rule.

I returned to blue magic grease a few years ago & my hair jumped for joy.
I know that’s right! My hair loves grease too. 😊
Nobody ever listens to how good grease is for natural hair
Thousands do. That’s why grease videos have so many likes.
Man I keep hearing people say it’s not good for your hair
I need to go back to the old school stuff this new age stuff is to expensive at this point!
It’s been working for me for years! Always locked in moisture for me & No other product does that for me but grease!!! Thanks for commenting ❤️
@@KyshiraChirimaTv i second that to be so true😊
I have grown my natural hair to an impressive length from a buzz cut in just two years and that's on grease, water, olive oil and castor oil with hibiscus water as my prepoo this stuff works wonders
OKURRRRR! 👏🏽🥰
Exactly, this is how our hair thrived back in the day. This is an old school method; minus the steam.
Period!!! Works like a charm every time 👏🏽
My auntie used Blue Magic on my hair when I was a child. My hair was about 3/4 down my back. So long.

Yes, I love my blue magic.
Does wonders once used correctly 🥰

I apply grease directly to my scalp after or before I blow dry. Feels so good
I love it! I’ve never done that but I would definitely give that a try! Thanks for commenting ❤️
Yes! Blue Magic hair grease is a miracle product. I swear I don’t know why I didn’t try to use it sooner in life. Thank God and God bless the inventors and for people like you letting others know to give this product a try!

I been usingg grease for the last 2 years....same rountine.. freshly washed damp hair,.leave in plus grease and I do braids. And have the best juicy moisturised Braidouts, no tangles, and been retaining length ever since using grease 🤎
Do you grease your scalp or just your hair?
@@chrismac870 I put the grease my hair I don't apply it to my scalp👍

How long does your braidouts last with this routine?
Yes!!! The Blue Magic reduces tangles. I was so shocked
I apply it on slightly damn hair and do the LCO method!
Yes! Works great for sealing in all the moisture. Thanks for commenting ✨
So you use a leave in conditioner first then the blue magic?
Just like when it comes to skin. If you apply an oil, you gotta apply it last to lock everything in. Same thing for hair
I agree 100% you don’t oil dry skin. I like using butter and oils right out the shower on damp skin to lock in that moisture. Thanks for commenting ❤️

I’m gonna try this, I really like the Indian hemp hair grease but it weighs down my hair so I will definitely see how it works with a steamer.

Grease will lock in moisture but it will also prevent your hair from receiving moisture as well. Steamer is a very good choice for this.
Hello there! Yes, it definitely will lock in moisture, that’s why it’s very important that we make sure our hair is hydrated thoroughly and properly before adding grease. I also do use my steamer again when I’m refreshing my twist but I don’t add anymore grease… I do add a light oil which will hold my until wash day. Thanks for commenting ✨

Grease is clutch even though I’ve never liked how greasy it was, it works well on my hair. My mom used Crown Royal and or Blue Magic like my grandmother did and at 5 and up until I was a teen I was sitting on my hair.

I’m not sure who told us to stop using grease, but I never stopped.🤷🏽♀️
Lol many brands started to come out with products that more catered to all different hair types, textures and density so a lot of naturals branched off from grease to try new products which is totally fine but it’s always great to see when we go back to the basics. 😁
I been went back to blue magic. It didn't hurt my hair all those years growing up and it won't now. But I would put it on my scalp not directly on my hair. That means her hair is very greecy .
This video made me miss my natural hair so much I used to love greasing my hair I got my locs now and I can still grease my scalp though
Hello! Thank you so much for engaging with my content. And yes I love greasing my scalp. It definitely reminds me of my childhood when my mom her to treat and pamper my hair. Glad you still do the same 😊

If grease breaks u out like crazy or makes u itch. Try more Vaseline like grease like Camille daughters castor oil balm. Idk how to explain it but I can't use regular grease. Bad memories

Good morning. I hope that you and family are safe, well, and in the best of spirits. I have a question for you regarding the hair dye. I want to color my hair with this dye that I saw you using in one of your videos. I don’t know if I should apply the dye to dry hair or to damp it. I haven’t colored my hair in years and I just want a change😁❤️
Hey Queen! Thank you so much for the well wishes. We are all doing great and I hope the same for you and your family! Also, do you remember if it was a permanent dye or just a hair makeup which I used to turn my hair into this very pretty copper color! Let me know so I can send you over the correct link! Have a beautiful day Love! 🥰
@@KyshiraChirimaTv Good morning beautiful! Thank you so much for replying. The hair color is Clairol natural instincts. 🌸💎
@@sadangel7334 you apply box dye or permanent dye to dry hair. Make sure you haven't shampood for at least 3 days prior dye.
I never apply greese to my hair only my roots to simulate the same way that natural oils roll down the scalp plus I don't like heavyness or having to wash hair too often. I use a light amount all over my scalp. I might use a little on the ends to seal them from break and tangle especially if its time for a trim.
My hair is a little longer than the girl in this video so its working for me but I don't like the feel of grease all over the hair and yes some of it can get on clothes and such.

@@KyshiraChirimaTv 💛
Just use it as a prepoo, lightly! I don't like going a week with grease in my hair so I use it the night before washing on dry hair. The hair comes out feeling so much better.
I agree
Is this for type 4 hair? I tried Blue Magic once and it weighed my hair down. I didn’t like that. Her hair looks beautiful and moisturized ❤❤❤
Hey May! I don’t have type 4 hair but I would say grease is that type of product that some natural love or hate. My mom has been using grease in my hair from since elementary and I’ve just been using it since. I mainly use it for my two strand twist. Not for definition for a twist out because it doesn’t give you a hold like gel….But it’s just to lock in the moisture from my leave in conditioner and herbal hair tea. Hope this helps and thank you so much for the compliment 🥰
VI nice!
One love always 🇻🇮
I love your voice
Thank youuuu! ☺️
I just started back using blue grease today with that exact brush which I LOVE ITTTT it really works for my hair but yeah the grease definitely brought back my curls and my hair doesn’t feel dry anymore. I’m trying to take better care of my hair so hopefully this works I wonder tho since I haven’t kept my hair grease or oil in a while should I use the grease every day or once or twice every week?
Hey love! I love that for you. Grease is definitely my hairs best friend. I recommend once or twice a week and if you need to increase the usage then do so. I usually style my hair on a Sunday and wear my hair in a protective style like twist or braids throughout the week only having to touch up my hair once during the week. Hope this helps 🫶🏽✨
@@KyshiraChirimaTv thank you so much yes it does
Doing a wash and go , would it be good to put grease in before or after leave in , curling pudding and gel ??
Hey there! I honestly don’t recommend grease for a wash and go. You won’t get the hold you need when using grease. I like using grease for my two strand twist or braids that I will be keeping in for about 2 weeks! I hope this helps.
U just had to buy new a new steamer…I use a clothing steamer to steam my hair…works just as good as a regular one…oh I’m back to using grease as well

@@KyshiraChirimaTv yes and my hair loves it. It’s just that I don’t. It also has a greasy residue just not as bad. I just wish there was a way I could moisturize my hair without getting shiny
@mw9497 All greases are not created equal. I don't use Blue Magic because it transfers no matter how little I use. It's just too heavy. Try a lighter grease like Dax, Kuza, or Bronner Brothers. You could always use it lightly as a prepoo instead. It really lubricates the strands.
@@cfoster6804 i like the idea of using it as a prepoo! thanks! ill try that!
Is it good for scalp ? If not, what do you use for your scalp ?
To be honest. You’ll get different answers with this question. Me personally, I love it for my scalp, especially when my scalp is clean. my mom as been putting grease on my scalp and hair for years and it always makes it super soft and manageable. Others will say no it’s not good but it’s really a personal preference.
