It’s just because these other Chinese companies have made a folding phone with a big front screen. Which is reallyyyy dumb. Whole point of a foldable is to unfold it lol
After thinking about it long and hard I'm going to pass on the zfold 6. I'll hold on to my note 10plus for another year. I just don't want to buy something I feel I'm not going to be truly happy with. Small front screen and narrow is pretty sad. Eventually the novelty of unfolding your phone will wear off and you'll be using the front screen way more, front screen has to be alot bigger. Also sacrificing the s-pen digitizer to make room to increase screen size is a huge pass. Spen needs to be added, maybe Samsung has peaked with their innovation and they got nothing in the tank left idk. Personally I love their ui the best out of all androids, however charging more and giving less is something I'm so tired of dealing with Samsung.
As someone who's been daily driving the Fold 5 for a few months now, I will let you know. If you do a lot of multi-tasking on your phone, it is a GODSEND, I find myself using it folded out most of the time. I treat it more like a tablet that can be "put away" into a phone form factor. The narrow front screen does leave a lot to be desired, but typing on the display when it's out feels much better since you can split the key card in half, and it feels roomier. I'd say, if you like the greater real estate of a tablet most of the time with occasional uses of the narrow screen, give it a go.
I've had the Fold 1 3 and currently on 5. When you say the novelty of unfolding the phone will wear off and you will use the front screen more often, that is simply not true. 90% of the time I'm using my device unfolded. But to make calls or quick tasks, I use the front screen.
I folded and got the 6. Wow this phone is sick. When you hold it in your hand it feels so much better than it looks on paper. Makes the one plus open feel like a cheap toy in comparison.
🤔I’m willing to give up the S-Pen for the bigger front screen. And I don’t mind it being a little heavier with the bigger front screen and S-Pen support. 🤷🏿♂️ Samsung get your head outta your @$$!
I'm passing this year there's no Significant updates from the z fold 5. They didn't give us the glare resistant screens like we should have got. The crease is still noticeable, they didn't increase the battery nor upgrade the cameras from what that has been leaked. Samsung crazy if they think there gonna apple us an keep giving us the same phone. Stop going backwards. Smh
That's what I've been telling people. I think they want to test market it first, and overseas foldables are more popular than in the states. I'm even certain that they'll also include the s-pen inside the phone as well. Making it 6.5in, means there will be plenty of room to slide it into. Especially since the Ultra S-pen, is smaller than the Fold S-pen, and that's all we'll need.
@@clevern3rd102 defo would be a game changer for me, I’ve only ever had an iPhone since day one and I’m looking at a foldable for entertainment and gaming on in conjunction. I just feel that I want what the slim might give but with the spen too… :(
The Z Fold Slim is definitely the phone that everybody wanted. Seems now that they've shown their hand of what they're truly capable of today, you're better off just holding off on the 6 in the event that the innovation of the Slim will most likely carry over into next years Fold 7or at the very least it would be leaps ahead of this years model. The Fold 6 is looking more like a "filler" product just to have something for this year.

I just bought the Vivo Fold 3 Pro and it feels as if I just bought the Samsung Fold 9, Samsung is slacking

So, no Z Fold 6 ULTRA? 🥺
Z fold 5 and yes I'm trading it for a z fold 6 ❤
Good for you, but the average person doesn't have the luxury of wasting money like toilet paper.
@@J.D.Visionit's not a waste of money when you get insane trade in promotions from samsung

So dumb they releasing these 2 separate, don’t get how the slim is apparently meant to be more expansive ?

Really wish they would've kept a similar design to the Buds 2 Pro. Guess I'll just be getting the Watch and Fold 6
It’s London and ny lol I can’t waiting working for a big wireless company is worth it just for these devices
Has to be the same thickness closed as s25 ultra then groovy.
Common Sense dictates that anything under 1 mm will enter
