I’ve been chasing deer about for a lot of years now and you will find what works for you kit wise. There is a trend of people saying - oh I only take a knife, rifle and sticks. That’s fine but I want to produce the best carcasses possible and I take what I need to do that. Trial and error is the way. Then you’ll settle with a setup and that’s that!
💯 agree with you. I don’t want to take too much tbh as the idea of a shirt with the sleeves rolled up on a nice evening or morning sounds incredible Alex If you are in a position to support with a small subscription then please join this channel as a member to get access to perks: th-cam.com/channels/dFDMz4wVDQ-ytrLobvxPMQ.htmljoin
Do you find water in the harkila bag Alex ? I only ask because some harkila clothing I’ve got does get saturated but I’m told it’s designed to do that and just drip off the bottom. It doesn’t get me wet but it gets heavy and it’s a bit uncomfortable at times. I’d prefer a vortex or similar really.
I do. But you have inspired me to test it again. Watch this space….. Alex If you are in a position to support with a small subscription then please join this channel as a member to get access to perks: th-cam.com/channels/dFDMz4wVDQ-ytrLobvxPMQ.htmljoin
You should look into Kuiu mate, way cheaper than Harkila and you get so much more. The warranty is best in the business. Take it from someone who used Harkila, blaser, stoney Creek etc. Kuiu is taking over for a good reason.
Oh really? I’m keen to look at them then. Thank so much Alex If you are in a position to support with a small subscription then please join this channel as a member to get access to perks: th-cam.com/channels/dFDMz4wVDQ-ytrLobvxPMQ.htmljoin
To be honest, I’ve not got loads of experience with scopes but I do really like this one. The clarity is excellent and it’s really really simply laid out on the reticle. The only other scopes I’ve used are Swarovski Alex If you are in a position to support with a small subscription then please join this channel as a member to get access to perks: th-cam.com/channels/dFDMz4wVDQ-ytrLobvxPMQ.htmljoin
With the fridge you can just buy a tall domestic fridge and put a bar through it I've 2 and they both work fine I've had a 50kg fallow in one of them You want the 1.8m tall ones mine both cost about £20 each of marketplace You can just drill holes in the side all it is is thin material with foam in-between
I've just finished the video, no thermal? If you're not a professional and earn a living from it maybe it doesn't matter to be honest. A belt fitting ammo wallet? Saved my bacon out at hinds when I emptied the magazines. Lovely knife, I keep another spare knife in the harness as well as a spare magazine that's loaded. Got a Garmin spot device but again it's for work. For the rifle, lens caps, a bubble level and throw lever are recommendations. Or just get a scope neoprine cover, I use that now.

What is your opinion of the GPO scope?

I’ve got one ready actually but I’m told it’s not ideal? Mixed opinions
