Also what i noticed about blade, is that destruction path in sim universe is kinda meh for him, since there's a bunch of if cards that give you shileds, that he doesn't want. So your chances of getting what you want is even lower, since even in the chosen parh you still have cards you wanna avoid.
I watched another TH-cam guy saying to go for a HP-based orb. When comparing adding a Wind-damage multiplier versus enlarging the HP multiplier, the difference to the Total multiplier is small.
I personally think it's always best to go with better substats. So if you have a HP orb with incredible crit stats, then go with that. But if you have an optimal wind orb with HP% and crit, that will be overall better. Blade's survivability in the endgame isn't that wild, considering him at half health, with optimal substats, will have more HP than the rest of your team anyway. But you definitely can run HP% Orb if you want and if the susbtats are there!
Atk% and hp% are multipliers of the base atk and base hp respectively. Dmg% is basically another way to increase damage, and you ideally want roughly equal atk% and dmg% on a standard carry to achieve the highest effectiveness. The only thing dmg% does better is that it scales flat atk too, while atk% only applies to the base value. Wind dmg% instead of hp% sphere provides more damage by roughly 1-3%, but with hp% you'll have around 2k more hp. Also hp% does better with Bronya and any other outside damage boost. There's even merit to running hp% chest with Bronya, but i'd stick with crit for the Arena/Salsotto procs
i have a quick question, why is hp% boots better than speed boots? wouldn't speed let him take more turns and do more damage? you already covered in the video how hp% is additive while damage% is multiplicitive (which it kind of is but kind of isn't since all damage% multipliers get added up together, so a 15% damage buff isn't really 15% more damage, its 15% more damage% added to the rest of your damage% buffs) and therefore damage% is better, but speed is also a multiplicative stat, since it lets him take more turns and, as such, multiplies his damage by however many extra turns he gets.
this convinced me to pull for blade as i wasnt sure yet. also i just discovered your channel, your videos are amazing and this one is very helpful for the wannabe blade havers so thanks a lot!
Lol yeah, always play luck and don't have luck play you. I always save to at least 1 pity before I pull on any banner. And I play on PC with a PS5 controller. Hoping for that PS5 version soon! Lol
Blade didn't died for me a single time so far(aside from my whole team being wiped by stupid deer), and i don't have luocha. So he's not that risky at all.

you need to care about normal attack because there is some scaling affecting his enhanced normal attack

spd is better generally. it's only not useful if you have a LOT of spd substats (ie enough to get like 125 *minimum*)

I'd personally just stick with HP boots. You can go speed tho if you have them and they have good substats

I would just use Secret Vow or S5 Collapsing Sky. I personally think it's more important to get more characters in the early game, but that's just me.
