Jimmy has a heart of gold. Soooo. Real scoop.N Scale. Kato chassis with an Atlas body and MicroTrains couplers. A spash of detail parts&weathering. Lifetime piece.
Stop lying. BLI is junk, and no they don’t have a “keep alive”. I’ve had three breaks new BLI locos over the past four months and they’ve all had issues and none had a keep alive. This has been echoed by other people. Do you buy all of these yourself? You have zero real cons to say about any of these except the ScaleTrains, which is funny because they didn’t behave like that for me. If I watch other popular N scale channels they have shown actual cons of these individual trains, especially BLI.
Paragon4 HO have a keep alive. Paragon4 N scale do not. I wondered the same thing and simply called BLI, spoke calmly to the individual. Understood. And didn't get even close to how upset you are. Remember, there are 1001 ways to do things in this hobby and 1001 opinions for each.
I imagine the majority of people wouldn't have issues with any of them. That's probably where Jimmy is coming from. Any competition is good competition in the N market. Of course some will be better than others, but for normies like me, any of these seem like they would work well.
What a variety of manufacturers doing the same locomotives. Thanks for sharing.

Sd-40s are now aging like fine wine
7:42 yes that happens on my layout with my Scaletrains sd40-3
Best release this year definitely has to be the Rapido H1 Hudson 👌
My HO scale Kato SD40-2 has a similar gap (to scale) between the fuel tank and rails.
I’m really interested in the new releases of the sd40-2 but I hope they will release a SP locomotive. I like the old black and red
