Great presentation, Tim! That translucent/purple Crank It Up album looks splendid! I have the three Mylon Girder remasters on CD, and I'm glad I purchased them. They sound wonderful. I hope that someday we might see the Myrrh albums remastered, such as "Sheep..." "Live Forever", "Crack..." and "More". Blessings to you, brother! -Kent
Thanks Kent! Yeah, the translucent purple of Crank It Up is sweet looking! Going to listen to it this evening here in just a bit. Agreed on remastering of Mylon's Myrrh catalog. We can only hope! I've been wondering lately if Mylon has any lost songs, alternate tracks, or unreleased songs from any of the albums from Wolves on. I got the impression that he was a pretty prolific songwriter.
I love the reissues too, never could find original myself either. Nice collection you have. I have most, if not all, of his early "secular" stuff too. All good stuff. A few weeks ago I found two albums from the family, The Lefevres, one of which features (I think the first time) Mylon singing with them.
@@JeffMcCormack777 Jeff!! Love your channel, man! Thanks for watching & commenting (and subscribing too!) I’m honored. Yeah, those reissues really are nice. Sound good too. I’d like to start tracking down his “secular” solo albums as well. I’ve not heard too much of those, however. Any recommendations on which one I should start with? I’ve not heard any of The Lefevres family albums either. More Gospel-sounding I’d imagine…?
@@TimRistow The Lefevres are gospel straight up, yeah. I think most of the early Mylon albums are similar. Southern rock for the most part, and most all tend to have some songs with spiritual sounding lyrics. Just solid classic rock stuff.
THAT had to have been a sweet concert. Do you remember where in Buffalo you saw them at? I don't know Buffalo but just curious. I've been a fan since Wolves too. That album art and "Trains Up in the Sky" hooked me. I followed each of his albums from then on up through Crank It Up.
Girder did an excellent job with these albums!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very cool to show the vinyl!!! It looks gorgeous!!!
Great reissues! I had the last 2 or 3 on cassette. Great band and one of many bands that has a good combination of great music and ministry.

@@JeffMcCormack777 Awesome. Thanks Jeff!
Been a fan since Wolves....
Got to see Mylon, Russ Taff and Sheila Walsh together in one concert in mid 80's in Buffalo.

Can't remember the venue. It was in fall of 1986 I think. Around the time of Look Up.
