For those who haven't done this yet, PLEASE HEED THIS ADVICE: As she says in the video, make sure you use _dry sand!_
I went to Lowe's, couldn't find industrial sand, and instead got "multi purpose sand", and it was kind of saturated with water, making the pouring process take _forever,_ because the hole in the base to so small that it kept clumping up and clogging the funnel(we actually ended up making our own "funnel" out of a 2'×2' piece of thin sheet metal, and just scooped it out of the bag with an empty gallon milk jug, and poured it in very slowly.)
It took the two of us _three hours!_ And that was only 250lbs of sand, because that's what the directions that came with it said to use.
So for the love of god, *GET DRY SAND!!!* lol.
100%
What about adding dry sand and THEN water? Will that not make it heavier/sturdier than the 300lbs of sand alone? Just wondering if it's worth it as the water will fill the small spaces in the sand. I wonder how much of a difference in weight it would make.
Fr! I just bought sand today and it was the wet kind. Took me sooo long to fill it up smh.
The guys hitting the bag should get an Oscar for their performance. They were hitting it at half power, but making it look like full power
Wouldn't matter if he went full power...
Bigger more powerful men can't knock these bags down
This is the best standing bag in the market by a lot
As others might say, sand is best. It may be a PIA to fill, but offers best lock down. Need 2 people to accomplish easily/quickly. 1 holding/sifting the funnel, while the other pours the sand.
Bite the bullet and go sand. Prove to yourself that you really want this shit. The first time you lay into the bag with your hardest haymakers and it hardly moves, you will know it was worth it. This is one of those instances where you need to put all the corny high school football coach sayings about "how you do anything is how you do everything" and "do things others won't to get results they can't achieve" or whatever into action.

Great review thanks! I’m going to use dry sand.
The one boxer that got no power I love that, it's hilarious. Well that comment was said in the video that wasn't in the comments
Hey Team,
Great video!
QQ: Did the water base have gel added to it?
I have filled my base with water but no gel, and my water (only) base +base mat does NOT perform as is shown in this video. Could there be some other issue?
Video stated 300 lbs of sand. The setup video I got with the purchase of this bag says 350 lbs. Which one is it exactly? would it even matter
The more you use, the sturdier it will be
Great comparisons, I filled mine with sand and it is by far the best option in terms of stability. One question I have is keeping everything stationary, I have the Fight Camp bag with the bag ring but it slides (yes, even when mine is filled with 300lbs of sand on the Fight Camp gym mat), do you recommend any sort of mat tape to keep it stationary and prevent it from sliding?
Put it in the corner of the room
Im getting a bag next week..what is the name of this bag!!fightchamp got the name..it look solid & sturdy..il go with dry sand.but im also thinking of getting lead breaking it up into small balls & getting guerilla duck tape put it round the base so it doesn't crack open.dry sand &, lead
Love that they dont even bother mentioning the "gel" method they originally said was good.
What if you fill it with nut and bolt along with sand?
It might get pregnant
LMFAO 😂
How much sand will i need to buy?
300 pounds of dry sand not wet.
How about 00 buck or BBs?
Daaang Coach Aaron knocked that bag down
But once you fill it with sand, I guess it just becomes a feature of the house. I ain't drainin it if I move.
That’s a nice bag
Great tips here! Sand all the way! The gravel is super loud 😤
If you fill it with sand, what do you do if you move?
You create a beach
That pee gravel was a mess lol no bueno
Ya it's not the best! Sand all day
I dont wanna fight a maracas 😅
I shouldn’t have used play sand . Pretty slow to get into the base
I USED PLAY SAND STILL MOVES
Pea Gravel is not the way to go obviously with this thing…
The best option as it is rather difficult to find truly dry pourable sand, is BLACK DIAMOND abrasive products COAL SLAG by US Minerals. Net Weight per bag 50lbs. I used 6 bags and it poured in easily with the large red funnel.
Who is she?
