Love the decisions that Chad and Ellie are making to protect their kids in these vulnerable moments! We don't need to see every moment of these kids' lives. I have learned so much from these videos to help my riding and am super thankful for you sharing with us, but HUGE respect for making decisions to keep your family and kids ahead of us!

Wow Tate grew up so fast, he seems so much more mature and very level headed compared to 2 years ago. The riding of all 3 Kids is amazing, and thanks Ellie (we know who is the real boss) and Chad for being parents first.
If Tate continues to put in that extra hard work, he's going to be one of the top riders. Having such a great ambassador, coach, and most importantly, a great dad is why Tate WILL be successful as he continues to grow. He's already very talented, but in my opinion the only thing I see that might be holding him back is his confidence on the track. He needs to get that mindset of "I'm gonna kick some ass!" Every race, and that's just like how Chad would think! 😊
Give him time he will gain his confidence,Chad isn’t pushing him to do good he just wants the fundamentals of racing to come to him and then it’s over he’ll dominate!

I absolutely love to see the family get humbled by the level of kids in the US and AUS when it comes to racing. It shows how little of previous commitment the Reeds have had despite having endless resources. I have no doubt that Tate or any of the kids could rise up and successful, but it's very obvious they lack the drive and commitment to excellence.
That boy just needs some time riding with guys around him try to find 2 or 3 80 riders for him to practice woth and have sprint motos that what my dad did with me when I first started racing and it helped me out huge but in canada birtish Columbia we didn't have races every weekend and then with snow we only got ride part of the year
Wherever Tates Regional will be held you need to take him there and race before the LL Regional so he knows that track and will do good.Back when my sons did the LL stuff we always made it a point to try and go race and or get in a practice day at whichever Track would be hosting our regional.Good luck in 24 Reed Family,hope all the kids make it to Lorettas in 2024.
Chad so happy for you to be able to enjoy the sport of motocross /supercross and I'm really glad that he enjoys it and that you're going to get to go through this journey with him I'm sure he's going to do just fine he's really riding pretty awesome if you ask me for a kid that's never really had too many gate drops and the future looks bright for him I believe and I can only wish that I would have had the opportunity to have had a son or daughter that was interested in racing my daughter unfortunately wasn't even interested in watching me ride LOL but I will keep up with you guys and good luck this summer I have the dream of starting to race again myself and I'm 55 years old and don't know if I'll ever be able to afford a new bike again or any bike for that matter but if I ever can I promise you I will be out there I haven't got to racing so many years it's not funny long story but my dream is to race again someday and I'm getting so old I don't know if I'll ever get to but once it's in your blood you know as well as I do that it stays there it makes me sick when I see some of these guys complaining about having to race so much I would have gave anything to have gotten the chance to go live my life dream of being a pro motocross racer unfortunately didn't have the backing from my family or the money that it took you although I got a lot of free bikes you know as well as I do that's just a drop in the bucket only got the chance to go to one time and should have been top five but you know how that goes you have one bad motto and it screws you up for the week

Super sorry!! the arrangements we had with filmers down there fell through. We tried to do it ourselves . But being parents present at his first races became the priority . And we asked for race footage from the event which also was late and delayed and minimal. So that was never the plan and we are also dissatisfied. We wanted to make it great!

We definitely understand that things happen and although filming is important, being there as parents for Tate in that moment of that big race , that’s always the most important and all of us fans will always understand that! After weeks of watching training it’s so disappointing not to film the races… I get it but it’s not the best way to keep the fans happy you can’t have it both ways
Hi Chad, just an idea: when Tate is training on a track are you driving WITH him? If you drive in front of him then he can see the lines choice a PRO like you takes...then you can drill how to pass people...the specific skill set...flat turns...whoops...drilling (practice riding) is the key to success...also VERY important: train him GRADUALLY, making MASTER this basic action and when THAT is master making master a little bit more advanced action...etc...and make sure the BASIC actions are ALL FULLY mastered. He must be fully confident on the BASIC actions before he takes on more complex actions...PRACTICE LIKE MAD is the secret and like I said train him GRADUALLY and MASTER each step, each drill...then a more complex action...etc...And if he fail on one step find exactly why so he can correct it, very important to find the EXACT reason of failure to be able to fix it...and fix it so well that he NEVER do that mistake again...and of course racing experience, nothing replace racing. I am not a pro at motocross (I did dirt biking for fun but never race)...but I am a pro at teaching/learning technology. Let me know. Best regards, Olivier, Belgium
