    Been there last year, awesome ride. The park itself is huge, clean, well maintained and not crowded like disney or universal. If you like roller coaster and less crowded theme park than this is your best bet in Japan. The vending machine here is also have a good selection of drinks and ice cream. The price for the food and entry also very reasonable. For me, this is the best theme park so far.

    It's impressive how B&M was able to make trains to fit the track design of Steel Dragon 2000 :) Such precise design for this ride, and looks a lot more enjoyable now :) A lot of people say this isn't the best giga coaster, and to some extent I will agree, but that sheer 95 mph speed still looks amazing throughout this ride. Just the feeling of speed looks to be awesome on this ride

    I don't say this about non-upside down roller coasters but that looked REALLY fun and REALLY well designed. The layout was perfect & the height made all of that possible since it was fast enough to go through all that.

    • @Zickcermacity
      @Zickcermacity ปีที่แล้ว

      Cedric: I personally find going upside down to be overrated. You can't have the high sustained speeds on a looper or barrel roll that you can on one of these hypers or gigas.

    Comparing the old footage with the new footage. It seems that the B&M trains give a faster ride, especially at the end! You can notice the speed difference the most during the straight-away leading up to the midcourse, and the speed it flys through the midcourse (Which wasn't on?). Looks amazing!

    This is the second time B&M made trains for a coaster they did not make.

    • @Dolphanatic
      @Dolphanatic 9 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      The first time being the now defunct Psyclone at Six Flags Magic Mountain, whose trains were later used as spare trains on Colossus for a few years afterwards.
      Either way, it is very weird seeing genuine Bollliger & Mabillard roller coaster trains with 2-across seating, especially when they're on a ride made by another manufacturer.

    • @BacklogBattle
      @BacklogBattle 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Dolphanatic Is there a particular reason why B&M trains are being put on these coasters? I'm kinda curious as to why they just wouldn't go with the same trains they've had.

    • @Dolphanatic
      @Dolphanatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@BacklogBattle B&M has been around for a long time and has basically become synonymous with smoothness and reliability, whereas lesser-known manufacturers like Morgan tend to have a more hit-or-miss reputation.

    • @BacklogBattle
      @BacklogBattle 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dolphanatic Thank you for this! I've only known B&M for their coasters and not their rides' operating efficiency, though admittedly it makes sense given how many of their rides are up while others are down! I suppose that makes sense then that the park would go with their trains!

    • @Dolphanatic
      @Dolphanatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BacklogBattle Honestly, I'm really just guessing the reasoning I gave is what happened here. B&M has garnered a reputation over the years for building polished coasters that last a long time and don't break down very often, so it's not hard to see why they're popular in the industry.

    While i haven't been on a single Morgan hyper (the only hyper i've been on being Goliath at over Georgia), I know how nice the B&M trains are, I really would like to see them be used on the Cedar Fair Morgans, they could really make those rides that much better. But it seems that this is just a one-off thing, a damn shame if i do say so myself

    Robb, have the B&M trains provided a more enjoyable ride over the old Morgan trains?

    Does the front pov have your dialogue edited in? When you come back into the station you say you are signing off.. but I swear its you or your identical taking pictures in the station.

    I didn't know B&M made trains for Non-B&M rides. Hope this happens to other rides as well.

    What I think about this ride is that it is basically a bigger version of MagnumXl 200

    The seats are more open, so the ride is a lot scarier too!
