Wow! This is one amazing creation. Every detail just brought it to the next level. I hope you send it to someone who will cherish it forever. Thanks so much for sharing. You really do give me the incentive to try a slider!
You can take a piece of waxed paper & rub it along the slider element to make it slide smoother. A bit of the wax will transfer to the edge of the paper & make it a tiny bit slippery.
I had a question. I read somewhere that you shouldn't use Stazon on ink with clear stamps because it would damage the stamps. Obviously, you would need stazon ink for the window. Do you know anything about that? I really love your design and I have the color slider on my wish list. Your card inspired me because the little girl my sister sponsors likes purple, so now I feel I can use pinks and purples in non-traditional ways (like ocean scenes).
Hi Annette! We are so happy that Nichol's card has inspired you! It's true that Stazon ink will stain clear stamps but if you wipe off the ink after stamping (our Stamp Shammy is perfect for this) it shouldn't damage the stamps. :)
Hello, thanks so much! In English, octopi is the plural of octopus so the sentiment is a play on words that means "you occupy or have a place in my heart" :)
Sanjida Islam Shoshi Hi! Copic markers (the ones she used in the video) are alcohol based ink markers. They are awesome, but on the expensive side. I have the twin touch markers which are also based on alcohol, and they are great too! You can unsually get professional markers at any kind of professional craftstore. They are cheaper online, though. Just make sure you are buying the real ones when shoppinh online!:)
Marie Sykes thanks a lot .. but can you suggest me some names , I mean which brands will be good and how much they can cost ?? 😊 And what about the prices of copic markers ??
Sanjida Islam Shoshi As I said, Copic markers are the expensive ones. Google them, prices depend on where you buy them. Same goes for the Touch Twin markers. They are from ShinHanart, and are a good cheaper option. Both brands have different nibs available and both are worth their money! Just do some research about which one is more suitable for you :) xx
Hi Sanjida, we use Copic markers in our videos but there are a lot of different brands of alcohol markers. It's important to do a Google search for "alcohol markers" to find stores in your area to compare prices and decide which brand is best for your crafting needs. Hope this helps :)
Hi! To keep your clear stamps clean, make sure to wipe off the last traces of ink each time you use them. To remove debris and dust, and to renew their cling, carefully wash them in warm water with a mild dish soap, rinse well and let them air dry. After time dye inks will stain them but it won't affect how they stamp. Hope this helps, thanks for the question :)
