I just received mine. I think they are clunky. Looks like you're having the same trouble as me. You're just a little "rougher" with it while I deploy it more gently. The problem I see with this design is that the legs go all the way to the bottom of the panel, so as you tilt the panel, the legs will not be able to hang freely to open up. As you see from around 2min29s, the moment Steve leans the panel back, the legs will snap close and he has to go to the back to readjust the legs.
400W is quite heavy in my opinion, 46#, not something you lug around casually.

Just got mine today. Anker support leaves a lot to be desired. First the ONLY thing on their website regarding the PS400 is the super sparse manual and user guide. If you go to the support question area, there is no discussion or answered questions about it. If you try to communicate with them about the PS400, the required drop down product selector does not have the PS400 in it so you cannot ask them a question about it at all. I tried their chat and the AI also seemed to have never heard of the PS400. Then the chat timed out as I was waiting for a person to chat with.
My main question is - how do you store this ungainly thing? Do you place it flat on a floor or shelf? Can it maybe be stood on end, slightly unfolded accordion style to give it some stability? My garage is like a sort of 3D puzzle bomb - it will explode if you don't carefully place or remove items. So I need to know the best way to store it.

I just received the Anker 400w solar panel. I tried charging my Anker 757 but the battery only received 2 watts in direct sunlight. My Anker 100w panel worked great using the same location. I will contact Anker support.

Are these your first Anker 400 watt panels? I have both their first gen and second gen 400 watt panels. The new ones (the one you have) suck. It doesn't have a bottom support for the leg. These ones have the "rope" to hold it with the buttons.
