- The STALKER series boasts a wide array of hazards and ways to protect yourself from them. The most common of which is a suit of armor. These bad boys boast a wide array of protection from most types of damage. But Call of Pripyat has a higher emphasis on this, as it contains an underground section that "requires" a set of armor in order to get through.
Can we complete STALKER Call of Pripyat without armor?
8:53 Those burers have huge resistance / regeneration when you are outside of the big room in the elevator hallway. They can be easly killed once you leave that hallway. I had to learn it the hard way...
They are invincible until you enter the room.
Sadly, you learn the best information after you needed it the most... Such is life haha
@@_synt3rax_437 They are actually not invincible. You can kill them with Gauss rifle. It just takes one hit and they're done for, regardless of their health.
@@chaoticism And they also die in a few knife swings. And they can't block it or pull the knife out of your hand. Unlike any weapon. I always stab the ugly garden gnomes
took me 30 f1 grenades and about a thousand bullets from zulus machine gun on master...

The best way to kill burer is to drink monster energy and shank him with the knife
I'm dead serious. It makes him go from 'i'm using my shield' to stagger to shield again. So you just click to win.
dude this is some refreshing stalker content, honestly format wise i like both longer and shorter, in my opinion just keep what you really like, who knows how much there is going to be each time

I appreciate the feedback! The goal of these videos is not to rehash the entire story (like I pretty much did with my first one) and so I'm still trying to figure the perfect combination of cut versus keep.

Impressive run. I was left wondering, did you manage to keep Tarasov, Valentyr and Podorozhny alive?
i tried to keep all of them and it happened many times idk why but i always liked valentyr i wanted to try save the sniper XDD but no chance
@@Lolbit_ofc.. the sniper is scripted to die, even if you manage to bug the sequence, by not running towards tarasov once you get teleported but running towards the apartment complex killing the monoliths who are inside the building getting the gauss rifle and returning to tarasov's and his boys position behind that rusted water tank, the sniper is dead even tho the monolith preacher never shot him.
This was really entertaining, I just stumbled on your channel (I stayed up all night its almost 7am). The commentary is good and the pacing is well done.
Also if you aren't aware for the room with 3 burers in it in lab x-8, due to a bug you can only hurt them if you're in the room with them, so you can't just snipe them from the elevator

Every STALKER playthrough I do is on hardest difficulty with player protection turned all the way down.
Answer is - sure you can beat it, savescum and you can beat it fairly easily. Get a good sniper for human engagements, Saiga for mutants. If you know the triggers and enemy AI patterns and how ALife behaves you can easily cheese the AI without having to take a hit (doesn't mean you won't, but it's easy compared to someone who hasn't played the game)
But then again I have over 4k hours invested in all STALKER games so YOLO 😂
I played a lot of Insurgency at one point and I wanted that kind of lethality in Stalker. I don't remember how exactly, but I edited some config files and made a sort of hardcore version for myself. It's really cool that you can edit so many properties of each weapon, like I dunno the amount of light its muzzle flash produces. One of the main things I've done in my mod is increase damage every weapon does by some significant amount. Perhaps I made bullets fly faster too and I'm sure I also upgraded accuracy (I believe that is a parameter of ammo and not the weapons oddly enough).
In the end, it was sort of a success. Everything died in a hit or two or three, me and the enemy. Up close it felt like playing FEAR and at a distance it did resemble Insurgency. I really felt like I had to use my head to survive, which was never the case for me in Stalker. I had a lot of fun with it. The end of the game was a grind though cause each member of all the hordes was lethal by himself with the end game weapons.
The longer videos are a blast honestly! Enjoyment-wise there was plenty, but the longer videos multiplied the joy by the minute, as your msiery was described more thorughly

Haha that's pretty clever. Call of Pripyat has limited stashes, so that may be an option!
First, you gotta need to know all stash locations, mostly by starting in zaton of course.
Second, having limited loot means you also need to make accurate shots, save on some food and as well as trying not to use too much meds.
Third, I guess Master difficulty is a requirement.
Fourth, stashes can be only looted once, and there are limited amount of stashes.
Fifth, Call of Pripyat is only game that contains loot at stashes even if you don't have information about stash.
If you plan on playing this challenge, good luck and have fun.
@@uklejamini master diff in vanilla stalker only makes the game easier, cuz sure, you die faster but your enemies die faster too, so you don't have to waste as much ammo and medkits

Strelok's rifle is my favourite rifle in a fame, because it is basically my Stgw 90 / Sig 550 scoped.
you can make your buddies much stronger by dropping upgraded weapons for them.
Sokolov with a RoF optimized AKSU becomes a bullet hose.
Wano can have a nice shotgun too.
You can even buy RPKs for each of them if you become friends with duty first.

Ah, CoP. I spent so many hours on this when I was younger. Much smoother gameplay than the other two, but it's kinda sad that GSG seemed to give up on their more ambitious elements of STALKER.

Yeah the triple Burers in X8 are a competing boyband that actually have infinite regen as long as you're not in the room with them.

I watch these types of challenges with Fallout, but Stalker has always been my go to game, so seeing these challenges is awesome, would love to see more. Btw, those 3 burers, that seemed invincible might actually be true. I believe, that there is a bug in vanila CoP, which makes these burers invincible until you enter that room

3:42 I'll never understand why they screwed up the sight alignment on the SPAS-12. It wasn't like that in ShoC. It was first screwed up in Clear Sky, then they left it screwed up in CoP. That bothers me less than their replacing the ability to aim modular grenade launchers with a cheap zoom.
6:44 Those super long-jumping "man-eating" snorks make for some fun sport. Try nailing one in the head with a pistol while it's in the air. Or try blasting them out of the air with 40-mils. Shotgunning them out of the air works too, but that's too standard. Too much like regular skeet or sporting clays.

IIRC the lab burers have massive health regen unless you're inside the room with them.
I don't remember getting three burers up there. But I was constantly getting targeted by flying objects everywhere I went. Even after a few loud runs throughout every room to check for anything. So maybe he glitched out

This would be way harder if the RPG had SoC's damage stats. It can kill you through walls and it's damage radius feels like a mile wide

I actually did my first vanilla clear sky playthrough completely naked because I was a cheapskate and wanted to save up to buy a really nice suit because I was scared I would get my money stolen again... Guess what, when I got to limansk I couldn't go back to buy a suit and finished the game completely naked since the start. Needless to say I had to bind the medkit button to my mouse LOL

Complete stalker cop using explosive weaponry exclusively (grenades, under barrel grenade launcher, rpg, etc) / or using only the weapons that npc drops, cannot repair or modify them, but you can drop them and kill another npc to get new weapons
Explosives only is definitely on the book! And it's probably doable due to the sheer amount of grenades you can get haha

You thought about doing a speedrun of SoC/CoP? I had fun figuring out a glitchless (except getting the decoder) run of SoC on master and I got to just under 90 minutes. CoP is also interesting, but far less linear which made figuring out a route harder. Either way, love these videos. Great skill, editing and humor.

Can you beat CoP with only the Thunder's grenade launcher, while also keeping all allies alive? (Yes you can mod in ammo) Bonus points for any military you keep alive in the monolith ambush.
The 3 burors together in the same room are bugged. They do not start taking damage until the player is in the room with them.

Can you defeat stalker without using any medical equipment (medkit and bandage) basically a no damage challenge.
I use challenge runs as background noise a lot so i do enjoy when theyre pretty long but i dont mind if u go with shorter vids of course

I like both formats, but I don't know if you left much out to cut it down shorter. With challenge vids the journey is more important than the destination, so anything interesting or funny is good to keep in. Sometimes something like, for example, an unusually intense firefight could be worth keeping in, even if it has no real bearing on the challenge.
That room with the 3 burers in X-8 is bugged. The burers won't take damage when you hit them from outside of the doorframe. You have to enter the room first.
Just use the rpg on the dwarf,he can't block it and dies in one hit.
