IT is very helpful, my husband submitted his naturalization application in February, he got his appointment for fingerprints in March, after that we didn't heard anything from uscis. My husband is a little bit scared and nervous cause when he was young he had 2 WDUI, a couple street fights, but now he totally changed his life and became a very responsible and hard worker man, he has a career, a good job, he is in the carpenters union, we only have to wait what they gonna decide 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank god yes, it took 2 years and half to get it without suing them. What helped a lot was bringing the attorney to the interview, specifically if applicant knows has criminal past because some officers are very strict.
@@hufsachaudry1857 yes, they requested an RFE ( Disposition papers about a case sealed when he was 17 years old) they wanted to know also the outcome of tha case (Dismissed) it took 1 month for my husband to get those disposition papers because the court was giving him hard time specifically that info was from more than 20 years ago. When he finally got the information requested, it took almost 3 months to hear about them again and finally they scheduled Oath ceremony.
@@lacatrachaindia3514 thank you so much for responding. We already provided all documents and disposition when we filed online and at the interview also. They made copies of everything again, no RFE issued. I hope it works out for us too.
My daughter have her interview tomorrow and she got arrested for driving under influence of alcohol 3 years ago, do that will affect her to become is citizen?
My n-400 was denied, passed civic test, english and writing, but officer told me we cant grant you citizenship due to faulty green card even i was a resident for 13 years!
can simple discrepancies or not understanding a question on your application for citizenship get your citizenship taken from you once your citizen or get you denaturalized
I actually made a few mistakes, on the application. What I did was, I took three whole Binders full of evidences just in case I got asked any question on anything I did wrong. I wasn't asked any questions and my interviewer actually corrected a few things that were not necessary. I am assuming that you are talking about minor things. I hope this helps.
Formally Informal hi thanks I’m talking about mistakes such as * name of employee * are u married with us citizens I answered yes but it’s no * are you registered to selective service I answered no but yes I did register I have evidence * have you been arrested cited.... I answered no but people say you have to answer yes since I have been cited for traffic ticket (not dui) so what you think
@@elianeeliane4955 Let me ask you, did you get your interview date? If so, don't worry about it. If there is anything wrong they usually let you know. Those mistakes you mentioned are very trivial. I would bring to the interview as much evidence as possible, just in case.
@@elianeeliane4955 just hang in there. I had a lot of things wrong in my n400 form and the interviewer actually went over a couple of things and corrected it. For example l forgot to answer one of the yes or no questions related to being part of the Nazi goverment (which is a big deal) I also put something wrong on my selective service status, l did not include information about my cureent job (because at the time l didn't have a job) among many other things. We went over the application, the interviewer and l and it was very smooth. So l wouldn't worry about anyting at the point. I know it is easy for me to say, but l hope that helps.

No. Not at all. you will receive an extension. Mine was expired when I applied.
