The Marfa Lights are really worth seeing. They have been seen since the early 1800s. Nearby in Marathon, Texas you can stay in an authentic cowboy hotel and hike in Big Bend State Park. I grew up on the wild coast of California, going to Big Sur and Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay and other world famous sites, and Big Bend and West Texas has an amazing odd charm. It is beautiful in a stark way. The people there are incredible. It is the closest to old Texas you ever get...i love it there!
I am from New Mexico and no one is allowed to go to the Guadalupe Mountains any more. It is now government property. Most places here that are rumored to have gold are now off limits

Joe Ann Sublett was my grandmother , Ben was her Great Grandfather i am curious as to where you got the info on him.. Some is correct, but its mostly incorrect .. his son was shown where the hole was but he only pointed to its location from a distance and it was when he was 9 years old .And many years later after Ben died he tried to go back and find it but could not. He knew he was close with in a couple miles . His son did make a map of this , but it was all based on his memory as a child. This map was given to my uncle when i was young . There were two other markers that where also pointed out heading to the location as well. It took three days for him leaving from Odessa TX to return with some gold.. Anyway there is so much more to this but its always been kept in the family.. It was really crazy seeing this here on your youtube channel !!! I enjoy watching your videos.. We weren't allowed inside and were advised not to touch it as we could be followed home, I didn't touch it, despite being very skeptical and declaring so in the graveyard. However once I got home I developed a delirious fever state, temperature, vomiting, mild difficulty breathing, a headache, and eventually lost consciousness. I was with my aunt, who believes in ghosts and shit, and is also terrible in these situations, so she just told me it was because of the ghost and left me to sleep. When I woke up the next day I was fine and I put it down to something I ate, or having a shower that was too hot. This was 5 years ago and I never thought about it again until I started seeing the mausoleum pop up in these sort of lists and videos, as I originally thought it was just a story made up for the tour. Despite still being very skeptical and having no problems being in/around the graveyard since, it's weird to have experience with and be so close to something that is well known enough to be included on so many paranormal lists.

Idk I’ve driven from Michigan to California and there were many places where the land between mountains was flat and you’d see oncoming headlights for about 20 miles until they finally pass by. I think under the right conditions you might see headlights in places you normally wouldn’t be able to.
