- Xanti has been home for about a week, when we finally took him for a walk for the first time.
It is recommended, to keep your new puppy at home for a couple days when coming home, so that he can get used to the new environment. Because the relocation is already a rather stressful moment and too many new things can be too much for a few weeks old puppy.

I love Maltese dogs, they are VERY cute. my mom said she would buy me a maltese dog after we moved to the city , because our house is too small to have a pet . I'm also in the end of year exams and in 2 weeks I've gone up to grade 2 of high school. I really like this channel, as long as I'm bored and keep thinking about maltese, Xanti always saves me :)

The cutest thing besides Xanti's adorable face and his chewing/munching, is when he runs! His fur flies back and his little legs move so fast, he's like a puff of white smoke. Dogs running free is what they were made to do, kinda like children. :-)

A harness is better to use with the leash than with a collar because their trachea can get crushed if they pull with a collar than a harness. With small dogs the trachea can get crushed easily.

Hi please don’t put xanti on a collar with leash, tracheal collapse is very common, make him wear a harness. I just started my Maltese on walks too ❤️

Probably anywhere between $1500 and $2500 depending on the breeder. That's what they go for here in the US, I'd imagine not much difference there.
He is very adorable! But how do you know when you can let your dog off the leash? I will get my own Maltese puppy in a few weeks but I do not know when I can let him off leash. Kinda scary :')

A collar can be dangerous because the Maltese, like many small breeds of dogs, are prone to a collapsing trachea. When the leash is pulled on, it can cause the trachea to collapse, and the dog can’t breathe. Other things can cause it as well.

Hii, well we did not choose the name, it was given to him by the veterinarian as his name has to start with an X, gven he was from the litter X. The name is of Portuguese origin we believe, and it has different beautiful meanings (saint). ❤️
