Though the instrumentation matches Kenichi Tokoi's style in Sonic Advance 3, he wasn't credited in this game. If I were to take a wild guess, I'd say Teruhiko Nakagawa is responsible for the arrangement of this track. He experimented a ton with this OST.

Maybe a bit too complex for the GBA chip but pretty solid "demix" It could totally be used as an unused track for Advance (as it's the direct sequel to Adventure in a way).
the gba can definitely do a good open your heart this is just a really crusty attempt reminds me of the difference between like metroid fusion and metroid zero mission in terms of quality fusion strangely has way higher quality tracks then zero mission does yet fusion came out first sonic advance 1 and 2, 3, and battle are good examples of the opposite as well sorry not sorry sonic advance 1 fans
@@tylerherr4288 Zero Mission had more choir samples and tried to remake an OST made for the NES. Fusion had that synth sample made for the GBA. I still prefer ZM's ost despite the muffled choirs but it's obvious when a game has a soundtrack meant for the console it came from (I wish we got the uncompressed tracks). Advance 1's ost was less complex but it had a bit more charm. Advance 2 and 3 tried a bit too hard to make things complex for the handheld.
