Thanks Josh! This was a super fun update! I love how you test things out for us. The power cost is not trivial, however I think these will be worth using. I agree that more powerful rifle or shotty versions would also be nice. Additionally, while I understand (kind of) not using non-standard rounds like explosive or incendiary (noting that the explosive would literally damage the turret in a lot of cases) I do think they should be able to use armor piercing, which might improve damage (if they are hitting the armored spots - it might be that they just "generically hit" so they never hit armored spots but also never hit crit regions). I think for things like a horde/geyser defense the key would be to have lots of them so they can clear animals away from the supporting beams of the neighboring turrets. Thanks again! JW

Thx Josh. good vid. Creature deterrent works gr8 . Even the cheapo, stinking meat one, will keep creatures away from your turrets .. lol more pretty no practical. Thx for the update.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the turrets. My base is in the middle of a croc infested lake so I made a few turrets but they are constantly shooting through my base.
They also only use Regular Pistol Ammo. That part didn't record. What do you think? Comment & Like the video if you enjoy our Icarus Content!
