It would be interesting to see a dozen or so cars being pulled around the layout, giving the illusion of a much larger space. The scenery is really beautiful. Great job.
Thanks. The next video will have more "reasonable" car lengths. The layout would be better of with about half of those ore cars on a train. This was one of those "What the hell. Run them all!" trains.
@@ELSD45801 Your welcome! Good luck on the new layout, just about done building mine after 30 years . Tried to include little things along the right of ways that I have seen in my 37 years of railroading , including around 300 telegraph poles strung which gave the right of ways character. Started building off and on since 1990 . Feel free to check it out on TH-cam. Barry
@@ELSD45801 Hi just bought the last ore cars to complete the CNW ore train for the layout. When I get it on TH-cam I will send you a note . Brings back memories when working near Escanaba back in mid 80"s in my railroad career. Barry
Thanks! The two buildings on the spurs are Woodland Scenics pre built models. The switch tower is an Atlas model. The houses are various models. I forget the station's manufacturer. Might be an older Model Power structure. Oh, I now have 54 of those ore cars. I did one quick video with them. Future clips will have the ore cars split into 27 car trains. 54 cars is WAY too big for a 4X6 layout!
Beautiful scenes by that all!
Thanks!
The factories look amazing with all the pipes and duct work. The working crossing lights are great as well.
Thanks! The two industries are Woodland Scenics models. The crossing lights are NJ International lights.
Thanks for sharing this awesome video.
Thanks!

Top Video 👍
Nice compact layout 👍
Thanks. I was fun while it lasted. I'm moving sometime this summer so the layout is dismantled. I will build a new layout once I'm settled in.

AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Wow ! Lots of iron ore ! This really is caboose chasing, lol. Maybe you need a sd45 added as a pusher ? Thanks !
Thanks! I normally run a pair of these on each track. There are times where I just want to run something big.
