- Going through all these demos was an awesome trip down memory lane, the insane talent and time commitment from the creators is awe-inspiring. I tried my best to nail down timings and beat mix visuals for effects and music, digital art like this deserves to be presented as impactful as possible. The music (mostly) Commodore 64 remakes by Jeroen Tel, really comes alive when accompanied by demo routines.

I felt dirty and savage by gutting a demo to just a few video clips, as an expression of art, creativity, talent, and teamwork every demo in this video deserved better. How can you explain the kind of work and innovation that happens on a platform this old?
If JT ever releases a better quality mix/tracks I will put the time into creating a Top50 video of all time nonstop party megamix version. The demo of all demos. Dem One. The demo from the prophecy, that will bring balance to the nerd.
It's an absolultely fantastic demo compilation, Kim! Loving every bit of it!
Jeroen you are a total legend
@@rickholdenmusic He's a junkie.
Combat crazy soundtrack is missing. I loved it 😂
12:33 😂shittyfluted 😂
I actually have a version without it.. DIscussed it with Jeroen Tel and we decided to keep this version: it was one of the last performances from (a very drunk) Ben Daglish
@@KimRom Gotcha. I love it.
@@KimRom The drunken shittyflute is authentic, keep it this way!
Does anyone know the song playing around 34:00? I love it!
The song is called "Firing Up!" by Jeroen Tel.
This is actually the set from Assembly. How you made the quality so good?
is there a pure copy of this ??? I want the OGG / FLAC version if there is one!! This has to be playing while burning down the motorway!!!
Yes i have
🤟🏻💥🔥❤️🔥🔥💥🤟🏻
Some of these demos are insane. Well done to the artist/programmer
The second day I look and listen, I can not tear myself away))
Amazing thank you. Feel the drop at 21:45
Sounds G-R-E-A-T but how much of the sounds in this vid are actually from the 6581 SID Chip ? ? ?
I'm guessing nothing. :) I think the composer wanted to recreate the magic/feelsgood of c64 tunes, without sacrificing sound quality on the holy alter of MOS6581 purism.
Doesn't matter, most of the magic is created by the notes that are played.
Kim Rom thanks for this your recommendation. I am getting this compilation for everyday in car use. Quality is awesome.
Really love this mix xx
Thank you!
There's no verbal way to describe this Magical All Around Awesome Ever Flowing Masterpiece
Absolute C64 Connoisseurs +++++ best term would buy again

Auf wiedersehen Monty! Banging mix of classic c64 tunes!

Oooh loving the smooth 50 fps
25 interlaced is the way... Fields and frames to the rescue!
This is a wonderful tribute to our beloved Jeroen.
It's pure happiness!
Gorgeous!
Thank you
27:30 awesome
One of the best chip tune ever !
The lastest image spoke to me like no other demo did before.
say no more
I remember demos on the PC (386, 486) back then not being as impressive as this, once Pentiums came along (especially PII/PIII) Demos became more like films as in you could pretty much do anything the imagination could come up with, with the most impressive being demos done with limited hardware or memory size. As for the music I still prefer the sound of the original SID although I do like modern interpretations
Super cool!!! Love hearing c64 inspired tunes. Brings me back to the 80's demo days.
Nicely done. Very pleasant to listen to. Video track makes searching throughout the recording easier because it allows to remember particular moments better. :)
What's the track at 21:45?
maniacs of noise - firing up
copy to mobile phone, to listening in the sun. Jeroen, DANKE! Gänsehaut!
As far as I'm concerned, you can be "dirty and savage" as much as you want. This absolutely rocks.
