Fixing a Stuck Key on the Synth

Buying a used electronic keyboard through the internet, you never know what condition it will arrive in. The one I received recently was scuffed, grimy and not in perfect working order. Luckily I am fearless (or reckless) and I decided I could fix it myself. This video will show what I did to repair it and reveal how well it sounds when played with the skill and imagination of a towering artist such as myself.

Yes, I bought another one. I don't mention it in the video, but part of my reason for opening it up was to see if I could modify it so the "howl" knob could be more howly. Some people have criticized the instrument for its lack of expressivity, especially regarding its expression knob. I am not bothered by that but since I had the opportunity I thought I'd give it a go. Two things prevented me from modding the Wolf. One is that the circuit board uses Surface mount devices which are components that are too tiny for me to mess with. Also the screw drive one of the screws was stripped by someone else's driver, probably from doing the same thing I was trying to do, so I gave up.
It doesn't matter a lot to me. I like the way this instrument sounds. I hope you do to.

Man! ...with 2 Wolves, you could have a Kick & Triads on one... a Bassline, dueling Melodic Voices & even a Lead on the other!
