I am the proud owner of one of these (same finish as in this video) and I LOVE IT! It is lightweight and so incredibly playable. It is absolutely the most playable neck I have come across. It sustains like crazy and I am thinking the diagonal bolt on neck configuration may have something to do with it. Great variety of tones. So clean sounding yet when I go into big time overdrive (think Gary Moore sound) this baby delivers and again, the sustain is nuts. I love it and I also own a Les Paul Spotlight Special, Parker Fly Deluxe, and an Ibanez AF73. Of the 3, this is far and away, the most fun to play.
One word... WOW!!! I know your rig and your personal mojo had a lot to do with what was conjured up here, but the guitar obviously has some mojo too. I'm seeing/hearing this video four years after you made it... still relevant. You just tweaked my meter on whether or not to get one of these.
Nice playing man. It sounds really good. How do you rate this model? I've been thinking of getting a Silvertone, but I know that the build quality can be a bit hit and miss. Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks
Rick Wellings it’s a lot of guitar for your bucks! Only downside are machine heads. They’re a bit naff. But overall I was impressed. Pickups, bridge and controls are all solid. I’m no expert mind...but I love mine.
The fit of all the components were absolutely spot on on mine. Straight neck. Finished frets. Bridge aligned perfectly. This guitar is an absolute steal at this price. All mahogany body and neck. Great pots that are tight and solid. I love this guitar and once I pick it up to practice it is almost impossible to put it down.
