Sometimes it's the only things people can afford and in those cases it's not like the clothes are going to be thrown away like most fast fashion cases since it's going to be worn until it's broken. I buy from shein cause I'm living pay check to pay check and it's all I can afford. It's not as simple of a situation as you might think. Besides thousands of other brands have the same practices shein do (not that I'm defending it). Why are they any different?
@@eli4s740 so not true. Hearing this excuse a lot to justify buying clothes that causes so much suffering, to people and the planet. But I guess who cares about that.. Most people buy from there because of overconsumption, adding to their pile of crap that they don't need, not poverty. If you save some bucks to buy some quality pieces, you are better off, then SheIn clothing that will break apart quickly and you have to quickly buy again.

Again just because some people wear SheIn clothes to the bones, doesn't mean that most aren't TikTok girlies that send theirs to second hand after one wear. And SheIn is a part of the problem. And as someone from the poorest country in Eu, me being poor, does not justify giving money to a company that causes human and environmental damage in a vast, never seen before, scale. I feel your pain living paycheck to paycheck, but try to choose the least of the vast number of evils.
