    HI! IMPORTANT UPDATE 📌
    1) the DOT and KEY tinted sunscreen is water and sweat resistant! I missed that point on certification of it and my apologies for it. It is indeed water and stress resistant for 80mins. Thank you to @saanjanadas3669 for letting me know!
    2) I had a chat with the formula rx team, they did say they have formulated their sunscreen to be water resistant but they are awaiting lab results hence they didn’t make that claim yet, if there is a development in that I’ll update you here

    I like the dot and key blueberry sunscreen. Works amazingly on my oily skin(i only take a bit of moisturiser before it) non greasy, gives a dewy finish but not oily and doesn’t feel heavy at all. My only problem is my skin breaks out terribly after using it and i double cleanse as well. Can you recommend something for the same or perhaps the reason for it??

    Can you recommend me a sunscreen that applies like the formula rx one but is water and sweat resistant and doesnt make me start sweating on face almost immediately. Formula rx is my favourite Indian brand and i loved how their sunscreen applied but i noticed that my face started sweating which definitely wasnt nor,mal since i've never felt this with any other sunscreen. I definitely cant wear it while working out im worried about not getting the protecion i need. please help me. i have
    combination to oily acne prone skin.

    I was frankly waiting for FormulaRX launch as well because their product Malazia suited my acne prone skin really well. However, every time I wear their sunscreen, I start sweating on my face and it doesn’t stay even for 30 mins. I’ve also tried aqualogica and foxtale matte sunscreen but both of them caused redness and small bumps on my face. Could you please recommend some product that you think might work?

    really unfortunate that the texture of sunscreens is what seems to be the main highlight for recommendation when it should have been the filters and lab lests (3rd party tests) for efficacy.
    Anyone suggesting dot & key, aqualogica, derma co kinda brands for something as crucial as sunscreens is automatically sus to me.

    • @Dr.Clearhue
      @Dr.Clearhue  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did keep sun filters as the core of sunscreen recommendations not the texture and third party tests are rare and expensive and from my knowledge it’s not a common practise now is it? Also I made sure to include sunscreens with valid lab tests and certifications. Oh and if it’s sus to you, you don’t have to use it. I’ve grown up using pharmacy sunscreens and now these and I know what I’m doing, Thanks

    Hey can you please include How they perform in terms of protection if they protect against tanning etc since thats the most important part about a sunscreen and it's little difficult to trust many indian brands when it comes to this its the concern that I have the most.... and reviwers hardly share their experience here...

    • @Dr.Clearhue
      @Dr.Clearhue  หลายเดือนก่อน

      no matter which sunscreen you use, you cannot prevent tanning a 100% you need other physical measures to prevent tanning which most people don’t understand and hence the bad reputation to sunscreens. I burn really easily and these have performed great and I’ve been able to prevent tanning too but at the same time I avoid sun as much as possible and always carry hats and umbrellas. Hope it helps

      I do understand that yet I have seen some sunscreens do better than others I have pmle that gets triggered from sun exposure Pharma sunscreen like uv smart or Korean sunscreens have worked for me whereas few Indian I tried didn't, but they are expensive I am still not working just a student so I am trying to find an affordable Indian sunscreen that really protects...
      So there must some truth to there being issue with popular ones in Indian Market, lab tests can easily be faked and there are no regulations here plus brands keep comming with new variants so soon you don't know how much they actually spend in RnD if they are photostable etc, I have been really wanting to try dot and key bcz of affordability but am not sure bcz of brand reputation, conscious chemist sundrink waterproof one really worked for me not as good as uv smart or boj but did work is dot and key similar in terms of protection?

    • @Dr.Clearhue

      I understand your concern, honestly even klairs sunscreen which is a Korean sunscreen has discrepancies with the UV certifications and unfortunately we can’t do third party testing on everything since it’s so expensive.
