My laundry room is almost identical and am getting ready to re-do it as well. I am going to stencil the walls instead of wallpaper. I think it will save me some frustration! Thanks for the video.

Megan it is beautiful, I have loved all your makeovers but this may be my favorite. It's so unexpected. I used to have a laundry closet at my old house and never thought of making it beautiful, I just kept the door closed. So impressed.
I did a peel and stick wall in my home (I have toddlers.) and man I agree with you on it not being for perfectionist. Uneven walls and patterns that don't match up could drive you to go insane.

My closest for laundry is exactly like yours except I have a wash tub sink in between my washer and dryer. I have just 1 wire shelf above identical to yours. And I hate mine too. My husband doesn't think it needs changed. He says it's just laundry. I keep my doors shut all the time too. Love what you did.

It really turned out amazing! The wallpaper gave it that extra pop it needed! Also, just another tip, to store laundry detergent I use 32OZ clear pump bottles that I’ve labeled. Functional, mess free, and still pretty!

Amazing! Love the functionality and some of the eco friendly products. If you are interested in trying some plastic free laundry/dish products I highly recommend Dropps. I put my little laundry pods in a cute glass container and it saves room as well!
I’m so glad I found this video! The electric and plumbing in my laundry room sticks out above my washer and dryer too and I’ve been stressing myself out trying to figure out how I could cover it in a way that would still look good. You just saved me a ton of additional stress! I definitely will be trying your lip and shelf idea!

Soo pretty, now it should be fun to do laundry lol! For the future, when hanging wallpaper in a corner, cut the strip in 2 pieces- the first one should wrap the corner about 1/2". Then hang the rest of the strip , overlapping and making sure the right edge is level. You can barely tell

I highly recommend wearing throwaway rubber gloves when staining or painting. It saves your hands and keeps one from walking around with stained hands.

Next time use regular wallpaper, not peel and stick...it’s much easier to install plus a a heavy texture will help hide rough walls
