King K. Rool is such a stellar villain that defines me irl. In Smash, his addition absolutely got me floored. He plays like a cartoon character that speaks K. Rool which 1:1 captures a literal boss fight, which is why I absolutely adore his design (aside from the few penalties in it for balance that go a little too overboard) and consider it the best one in base Ultimate (DLC has fancy winscreens with backgrounds that he doesn't have) and yes to me he's the most fun one. I was hopeful after his addition but until then, nothing happened. It's a huge shame he's back on his hiatus past the likely sunset of the Switch 1 in brand new media (I don't count legacy media mentions in current times) despite that reveal showing a lot of people still care about him, in fact, the whole franchise for mainline DK got shafted on the system. Perhaps the Switch 2 will have the DK fans feasting, if not nor he's in the next mainline DK game, it might be the end of the character, and yes I want him spinoffs again, I'm tired of them just including Mario characters in them when previous ones had way more variety (take Sluggers, literally the perfect roster) in what franchises were allowed. Also why is he and the Kremlings not at the Universal DK Land, I get that it's focused on Returns but they are pioneers of the whole franchise and cutting them sucks for both old and new fans, I would've adored to take pictures of a K. Rool mascot with a Klaptrap by its side.

fr it's such a huge mistake to not have any K Rool presence at Super Nintendo world. They need to give my boy some respect
