thank you AGAIN. Thispattern is my favorite for kids. I am making both sizes for 2 grand boys. I did this for the older boy already. I now have made MAMA'S LITTLE HELPER. 2 of them one size 4 one size 6. one with apron the other without but added shell neckline with beading, understraps close at back with shells around both sides of chain and pearls.. CAN'T GO QRONG WITH CRYSTAL.I added 3 rows of sc onto sleeves., 1 row sc on botto/ thank you so much.

I made my grandson a blue wit a white stripe across the chest and arms and my niece a maroon and white.( shool colors).. thanks so much they're very happy with them.
My first sweater, thanks to you, Crystal! I have a 7 yr old who wears size 7/8 so I tried going up in size of hook like suggested and it definitely works BUT 😂 I have now made a size for my Son and not my Grandson! So it is probably a medium adult man's size instead of a little boys 7/8. So now I know a size hook I would try again with for my grandson. I loved the way this pattern worked and how easy you made it with your teachings! I'm excited to do the smaller sized. Just thought I'd let you know hook sizes definitely work to make it bigger 😉 I used a 7 mm hook for this small to medium (I would say medium) adult male sized sweater I'm making. I will use a 6 and hope for the best for my Grandson's sweater. Wish me luck! 🥰
Ok used a size 6mm hook and it fits my Grandson perfectly! Again he was a size 7/8. Just wanted to update. I used colors sorta like what you had used just separate ones. Turned out very pretty 😍

I am so excited to try this! I have only ever made one clothing item, other than scarves, hats and fingerless gloves. But I am going to try this in my oldest grandblessing's school colors. If it comes out good, then I want to make four for all four of my grandblessings for matching Christmas sweaters (2 girls and 2 boys). I wonder why all these sweaters for kids and babies are made with a double crochet when there are SO MANY really cool crochet stitches? Don't get me wrong. I am NOT complaining. I REALLY appreciate the tutorials! I'm just wondering. This is what I've noticed all over youtube. I changed the stitch for this sweater to a linen stitch (I think that's what it's called) and it's amazing! Just hope I can figure out how to finish it off. Haha!
