Hole 7 at Los Olivos was my first ace ever (witnessed by some Camelback HS students ditching class in the park). It's a nice short course, good for building up self-esteem, and plays really well for a lefty like me.
Looks like a fun course to play. You being from Arizona, I'm not sure how close you are to the Papago course but you could go and see if you can find that unidentified thing that stole Paul Ulibarri's disc. He talked about it 9 days ago on "The Tour Life" podcast about 58 minutes in.
I have it dialed in for the most part but what makes me uncomfortable is not trusting a forehand or backhand for certain shots. This was a windy day but these trees can definitely get in the way and depending where you land, you can easily take 4 or 5 on each hole. The ones that are wide open straight lines down the middle is fine. I went two days in a row and the wind changed and completely changed my disc selection. I’m always looking to make my bag stronger. Any suggestions?
I played a heavily wooded course a few hours away from where I live and it was when I first started. It was the most challenging course for a newbie beginner but it made my shot shaping better for where I play now
Just found your channel, this is dope.
Thanks for watching

I would love to ace any hole here lol. Congrats on your ace. I played a tournament and a guy called his ace and aced it lol

Great review. 🏆
Do you have your bag dialed in or are you still looking for anything to help complete your game?

@@JusThrowitDiscGolf have you thrown a vandal? Or a toro?
@@Steventhrowsbirds I love the vandal just got one a couple weeks ago. Never throw a toro. How does that one fly for you?
Have you played a course that’s in the woods? I got a few here in tn and it’s always difficult but fun.
