- This took me forever, I'm probably only going to stick to doing only storyboards from now on, since otherwise it takes me forever and it's not that fun for me

Some explanations!!!
I have a head cannon that in 3rd life, when you die, you absorb the environment/how you died. For example!
- Impulse's first death, he is killed by Scar I believe in the basement of Dogwarts near an iron golem. Because I wanted variety and wasn't sure how to incorporate the sword wound into his character design and make it unique, I made it so that he became part iron golem :D
- Ren died via the enchanting table trap so I made the lettering become embedded in his skin lol that sounds horrible

(And don't worry, I know that some things are out of order in terms of what came first, like in the final fight when Tango gets killed before Impulse- the music really fit them when it was switched and I wanted Impulse's death scene to have the "betrayal breeds revenge" part! ^^)

My favorite part about 3rd life animatics is trying to tell which side of the war the creator watched from based on the portrayals of the characters
Yeah haha! I watched Grian’s pov and then I watched Ren’s- man the whiplash I got hah!
I had to go through and look at every single frame individually, because HOLY SMOKES that's some spicy animation.
Doomsday is such a good song for this server too, with the direct reference of lives, as well as the themes of betrayal and backstabbing that's so prevalent on a server like 3rd Life. Beautiful song choice and even more beautiful animation!

Words cannot describe how much I love this. I had never thought of Doomsday but it fits so so well. The contrast of the dark yellow and the bright colors of Ren’s eye looked so unbelievably cool you have no idea. Ren consistently looks really cool throughout though. This one may be me, but some of the faces Scar made looked like a really smug cat, like one that successfully knocked a glass off the table. Anyways, this is a phenomenal animatic that I recommend to anyone I know watches 3rd Life. Have a good day and I can’t wait to see what you craft up next!
(Also Joel’s dogs look so cool what the heck they have no right looking that awesome)

Oh yeah it’s definitely one of the best. It’s hard to say one animatic that’s THE best, simply because you can’t really compare full color animatics to the more sketchy ones like this. The ending has to be my favorite though, I can say that much.
This hit whole worlds of feelings.
We have been gifted with so many amazing 3rd life animatics; yet not enough at the same time.
Personally, the Dogwarts/ Red Army side of the war never gets enough credit for how truly brilliant their side was and your art style is just perfect.

I have seriously watched this like at least 6 different times lasdfjwae. this is honestly such a masterpiece, and probably one of my favorite animatics in general. I am very bad at figuring out who is who though, so I was wondering if the death at 5:35 was etho? Originally I thought it was, but then i was confused at 5:58 when it showed his mouth sadklfjwe.

god, can i just say that this is genuinely one of my favorite animations i've seen for 3rd life? i had a moment where i just kept looking at all that i could find, and this one just does the storytelling amazingly
i don't actually uh, know all the characters, i've only watch grian's, impulse's, and scott's povs of it, and i didn't know all the players to begin with, but everyone has very distinct designs that even in some of the really sketchy parts it's fairly clear who is who, which i absolutely commend you on
the way that you've incorporated the environment into the character design for the yellow and red lives is amazing, and such a great idea, honestly it kinda makes me want to draw some of them myself!!
and also the whole scene with joel and the fire and the dogs is great, i just love how you use fire and also all the angles of that shot, and all the others is just!! so good!
i've rewatched this a lot, and i see myself continuing to do so in the future tbh
also i noticed scar's feet? did he somehow become part creeper with those feetses? he looks like he would have toe beans and i love it
and i love how you showed them intimidating people for their armor lmfao
also the way you do eyes, with the typically white part colored instead is really interesting!

Hello! If you check Impulse's Episode 9, 27:05, it is Martyn who kills Impulse at Dogwarts, he's not in the basement at all, and Martyn killed him as he was trying to place down TNT while running away, but he wasn't able to set it off! :0

I’ve been in awe of your drawing skills and your skill in animation. The way you convey emotion with your characters in tune and beat with music is nothing short of magical. What advice would you give a beginner in drawing and in animation? What would you say would be the first step in that learning process?
Thank you!! I’d say for the first step is to just start doing it and make mistakes! That’s what I’ve done and this is where I am now- I haven’t taken any animation classes or anything :p!
I work with flipaclip which is a free program- it costs a bit of money to get rid of the watermark (like 3 dollars or something) and it is so worth it!! Using perspective lines for the ground and sky also is super beneficial and helps a lot ^^

But for real, this is AMAZING! I’ve seen my fair share of Dogwarts animations but this has got to be one of the best.

Derivakat songs just always fit to 3rd life and nobudy can convince me otherwise.
I agree and it’s kind of hilarious because a whole bunch of them including this one are DSMP ones but they still fit so good.
