- Dont miss the "Donkey Raid" - starring the fab Mike Turner. Taken with a Panasonic HC-X900 Camcorder I am disappointed with the quality. This is caused by the fact that iMovie 11 on my iMac insists on the format iFrame which is like MP4. It wont take HD. That's crazy. However, the video expresses something of my love of horses though I no longer ride them. I used to play truant from school so as to spend my time at the nearby stables. Eventually, my Mother threw my riding gear away, so sick was she of the horsey smell. Now, after going to see the Pony Sales, I still wished I could buy one and keep it in my back garden. Hey ho.
I’m getting one next month and I can’t wait!! Because of corona we’re contacting the breeders directly and we’re hoping to get one related to my current new forest Flye so we’ve contacted his breeder aswell as she has some new foals

Are these all of them? I have a 15yr old going on 16 this year pure bred newforest who was born on the forest, im thinking he mightve been taken out early due to his injury where a dog took a chunk out of his neck. I think his line is backgammon? I cant find his pedigree anywhere but his passport.
I like this video very much. Where is the location? How much is the price of the litle ones?
this was in the New Forest. The little ones only cost about £11.

These ponys are from new forest
All ponies grazing on the New Forest are owned by New Forest commoners - people who have "rights of common of pasture" over the Forest lands. An annual marking fee is paid for each animal turned out to graze. The population of ponies on the Forest has fluctuated in response to varying demand for young stock. Numbers fell to fewer than six hundred in 1945, but have since risen steadily, and thousands now run loose in semi-feral conditions. The welfare of ponies grazing on the Forest is monitored by five Agisters, employees of the Verderers of the New Forest. Each Agister takes responsibility for a different area of the Forest. The ponies are gathered annually in a series of drifts, to be checked for health, wormed, and they are tail-marked; each pony's tail is trimmed to the pattern of the Agister responsible for that pony. Purebred New Forest stallions approved by the Breed Society and by the New Forest Verderers run out on the Forest with the mares for a short period each year. Many of the foals bred on the Forest are sold through the Beaulieu Road pony sales, which are held several times each year.

Kylies Pack New Forest ponies all belong to people called commoners and lots of the colts and quite a few of the fillies get sold at sales like this because the breeding on the New Forest is limited and watched carefully. This is because some years ago there got to be too many ponies on the forest and the foals were selling for 50p each. New Forest ponies also make good kids ponies and for adults as well if they get big enough so they’ve got to be sold from some where :)
