@@Nazey09 I am talking about famous and established artists, like Alejandro Sanz, Malu, Antonio Orozco, etc. They sing flameco pop ballads, etc. What Rosalia did is go a step further and mix Flamenco with Reggaeton and that is what made her famous worldwide.

What's amazing is that when she starts singing at 0:40, where you can hear those perfectly rythmic claps, it's not part of the performers but the audience itself

Well Sevilla is one of the main places of flamenco. The song is modern but the roots are from flamenco. If you can identify the rythm, then you can clap following the pattern. Some patterns are so well known that people can follow it easily and become part of the song with the clapping complement. So it's no surprise the audience caught so rapidly the rythm and followed it.

She kind of hosted a “Tablao” in the stage which I believe is a Flamenco tradition.
I think it was in part to honor Sevilla, quite the Flamenco central, celebrate the 1 year birthday of her “El Mal Querer” album, a beautiful flamenco meets world sounds album, and in someway remain herself and everyone else that her roots and center is Flamenco itself and it doesn’t need to be box out from other styles.
Anyhow that is how I took it.

Sevilla is the origin of flamenco in the Andalucia region of southern Spain 🇪🇸. I love ❤️ that she includes her cultural music in her pop. She even includes flamenco dance moves such as the twirling of the hair.

Debo confesar que la juzgué mal por la canción con J Balvin 😅 luego descubrí el álbum de el mal querer, que por cierto es brillante y ahora no paro de escucharla.
