Hey thanks for featuring my video Eugene! Your comments and advice were on point 🤘 I definitely agree on recording in sections to get the best possible result. And yes, the audio/performance is not altered in any way in my video. But I ended up having to completely restart the whole recording process because my room got flooded, thankfully not much damage! When I film videos I prefer one take to make it more similar to live performance representation. Thanks again for your time and keep up the amazing drumming!
Thank you Eugene. I've watched your review of your own videos, and I'm deeply inspired. I learned Swivel by watching your teaching videos in the first place. It's really not easy to build up to where you are step by step. I hope you'll continue to excel! Regarding my video, indeed, I've fallen into the extreme of having to make both the audio and video cater to modern aesthetics. It's a bit over - produced. Thanks for your comments. I'll keep working hard. Looking forward to our next meeting!🎉
@sk8corn.. bro you killed it.. hands down the best drummer on this video. Your drumming is totally extreme and just brutal. I loved every single second of it dude. I've been following your channel for awhile now but I'm sold on wanting to see a lot more of what you can do bro.. keep killin it 🤘🏻😡🤘🏻
Here I am after watching the video! So the audio and video was made totally by the guys of Janara Drums which I thank for their help, they did everything according their own tastes! I also asked to leave a mistake on the minute 4:31 of my video since even if I appreciated their mix I still wanted to make the impression that what I did is what on the video, and yes even if was recorded in only one take is edited, no problem to admit that anyone do editing (I can play it live so... no problem) , thanks again as you can see your improvements helped me a lot! Cheers
Hey Eugene, Another sick reaction video dude. And another killer batch of great drummers. Yu Li, holy shit that guy kills. Hes a brutal drummer man. I can really appreciate the advice you give these drummers on how to improve their drumming and their overall performance bro. Its actually helped me as a metal drummer myself, so thanks again man, and Keep up the amazing work Eugene! Cheers 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻
Hello Graz here! This time I catched the episode in time! Meanwhile I watch I'd like to thank you about the feedback and the improvements you suggested in the last submission , so I tried to make my best! Thanks (I will watch it and comment again after!)
Thank you for this Eugene, especially the later part in the video where you give us a peek behind the curtain and show how modern drum recording/tracking works, and how/why it's as "fake" as it is, its all very fascinating for me. Also, this transparency and honesty is hard to come by today, so i greatly appreciate you putting yourself out there like this.
Thank you for being so honest about yourself, it must be difficult to critique yourself. I had no idea recording The Betrayal was so difficult. This series has been fantastic to watch but I'm looking forward to see what the future holds for you and this channel :)
Thanks for video, your self analysis part was one of the most interesting videos from you ever! It will be interesting to see the history of your stuff and its settings, like also a drum and cymbals height, angles and positioning and maybe history of changing of your technique....And fleshgod comprehension Franchesco vs You😈
Really appreciate the insight on professional recording and industry standards. I'd imagine it saves time and money on editing later on too. I loved the reflections on your own playing too
Thanks for the toasting! Glad I could make it for the last batch 🖤 yes, I'm Finnish, suomi perkele 😄 and the kicks in the beginning should be 16th, it's just sloppy. Have struggled with my feet for the past year, but I've made some progress now. Oh and no trigger on kick and the house set had two kicks but the house sound tech didn't want to mic both, but we kept it for looks 😁
Thanks a Lot for the words man, raelly apreciate 🖤 I'm posting those videos for Fun but looking to improve too, of course, maybe am Yamaha EAD10 would be great, and a better camera. Happy new year My Noble gentleman.

So I guess now when Eugene goes on dating sites he will put ‘confident blast beats’ in what he values in a partner. 😂
@@sliehgtofhand yes, competence and confidence are attractive traits even if to a certain extent you might not even know yourself what you’re doing
