Absolutely first class advice, explained by someone completely confident in his own ability. For anyone thinking he isn't divulging much information, he's explaining how to drive...explaining how the engine works is a wholly different topic.
Dealing with losing runs, I suggest when you have one you pin it up above your desk. For example how long it lasted, the financial downturn and the winners to losers ratio. The next time it occurs you can look at this and say 'I have been there before'
@@johnoldroyd5244 so right John, Egan the elder has history and is dreadful, I factor jockeys into my bets so much now. It’s vital. Even with such scrutiny there are so many non tries, and Dettori? Never rides for a place, not so keen on Doyle, Cobden & Hughes. Will always get a good ride from Buick, Saffi Osbourne, Shepard & Scholfield .
@@leenwctv1 Agree on everything you said. One addition Spencer and Hannaghan both well past sell by date but if they ever front run they normally out to get the job done.
@@leenwctv1 Theres seems to be alot of tipsters who do well until they start charging for their tips , then they go on a bad run , must be the pressure ?
And I mean the losing rum was incredible? No sorry- no good, lots of shirt prices too, really poor. They are all similar, best to do your own form and prices and watch lots of racing But from our expensive endeavour cost us about £1500 between us? And over the period we lost a further £2k each, awful.

A great interview
I've always wondered when gamblers like Mark find 'value' in a horse? What determines whether a horse is under or over valued? Thanks
Any Haggis Odds on shot or anything short ridden by clown jockeys Shoemark or the the Egan divvys or Greatrex all poor value have that for free
simply his analysis of the chance vs the chance represented by the odds on offer :its simple - the analysis of the variables less so
