When considering the comfort, features, price, performance, quality and more….. it seems that the L42 is a very good compromise of these, especially for purposes of cruising. 9:40 it goes upwind surprising well! Some "old school sailors" who hate catamarans say that catamarans sail so badly. But I have seen Beneteau and bavaria monohulls going upwind much worse
Seeing these beautiful clean shores in Croatia gives me hope that maybe other countries can be persuaded to use Croatia as the go-by of what their shores could look like. I live in Florida but this is still a few cuts above. Now, on the food, for me: mussels, shrimp and octopus don't quite cut it. But to each his own.

Like to know if you have a recommendation on a company for chartering catamarans in Croatia, we are possibly 4 couples. We want to mix of tranquility and beauty like in your video but we would also like some night action on a nice town by the ocean. What Itinerary would you recommend for 7 days. Thanks

What do you think, as a knowledgeable local guy?

It has ok angle upwind but moving sideways a lot. With daggerboards it would go like monohull.

@@lukasfecke9897 I prefer flybridge of 450. Many times Watermaker doesn’t work on charter boats.
