It’s weird to me because your character screams when Fig is almost hit by the giant pensive knight at Gringotts, and also yells “NO!” when Ranrok murders Lodgok, so for them not to scream and just kinda be silent sucked.

I chose to keep the power hoping that would lead to a cure for Anne as it should have, but no. Even though sucking the pain out of her might not really classify as a cure as we've learned. I guess I became the most evil Gryffindor of all time for nothing. Note: If Fig dies anyway and the power is contained anyway and nothing changes, then there is no real difference.
Why would it lead to a cure? It never worked as a cure. It was the equivalent of using an axe to cut your hand off to fix a broken finger. I can't imagine a teenager just learning Ancient Magic was gone to figure it out and totally not become consumed by it, when a fully realized Witch, who had mastered Ancient Magic not only couldn't figure out, but went nuts.
My take is that sooner or later this stored power can be released harmlessly. Either the protagonist is keeping the secret really well or the power had already released and possibly a large scale forgetting spell performed.
When i got the choice i didn't turn him in all he cares about is his sister Anne Not even his uncle cared to that degree about his own niece just because he lost hope he tried to ruin Sebastian's life and watch His twin sister died and people want to turn him in they do not know the pain of having a loved one suffer and you're powerless to help them .

I had a mask on and had no idea about the smirk :D I think the "evil" ending is the better ending. Because this way you absorb the power and become a keeper of it by having it in your body, you have the full control ever it, you can ensure no evil will be caused by it and it dies with you. If you contain it in Hogwarts, someone other ancient magic wielder, maybe centuries later, can get to it and use it for evil.
@@patrikdrug6443that was exactly my thought when i made that decision, but sadly that force you to pick these stupid villian lines even though you got good intensions, tragic how we get seperated from prof fig :/
I think this game emphasized that not all Slytherins are as bad as the Potter storyline made it out to be for a while. Anne Ominis and Professor Sharpe are really good. Sebastian is also a really good kid who had bad things happen to him that eventually led him down a dark path. Also if you consider some of the other side characters in the game, they seem like decent people.
@@kingkizza7669 him and Slughorn were the only exceptions. They made every other Slytherin look bad and all of Voldemort’s followers were all Slytherin
It kind of sucks that the only quest line with any impact on the story is Sebastian's... Hopefully they will add more stuff to the ending in DLC or something
Sadly they made it clear they won't do any DLC for the game........... I think their going to be doing other games one of which will be on the school in the US.
Honestly I feel like the Evil ending can be interpreted in the different way. You took the magic with you and it's within you and it will die with you without anyone hurting until the time it rises again and someone to break everything.
The game really didnt offer any sort of "options". Sure, you could disappoint a couple students but I always felt forcefully the good guy. And then the decisions i do get to make that matter only change a couple of cut scenes. No in game changes. I was also really hoping my white dodge plume of smoke would turn black once i cast avada kedavra or something but nope, still good guy white
I really thought I'd get some type of powers when literally choosing the power for my own. I would've liked to lose Fig and be OP if choosing that, OR Fig lives and teaches you some type of matched good spells/power if choosing to keep it. Like fable, wherein the choices you make actually affect gameplay, it literally makes no difference in the game, and that's a major L, imho.
I choose full evil, and will not turn in Sebastian as he is the only one who ever fully supported me with the spells which are very useful... Crucio, Imperio and ofc Avada Kedavra. I can even test the spells on him! Gaunt keeps getting in the way with his 'It's forbidden spells, dont learn it'... such a waste of the family line. Main character and Sebastian will be like Dumbledore and Grindelwald but then agreed in ideology
I don't really get what makes it a bad ending. I do feel this is one of the games weaknesses, in writing, despite me liking the game. It does not appear as they wanted to make it a gray area, it's pretty clear that they wanted keepers to be good and isidora bad but I think it failed. Your bad ending does not change anything, you are still you in the end, and as far as isigora, she wanted to help people and that thing with her dad... like what was that even? Did she suck him too much that he was left a husk? Or is it a side effect of being sucked that eventually you become a husk? Like what she was doing did not appear that bad at very least, and then freaking captain turban there straight up abra kadabras her while she did not seem to try and kill any of the keepers but just though them to be selfish with this power.
He became a husk because the magic she used pulled out pain but also left a hole thru which all the other feelings/soul/magic were slowly leaking out as a side effect. It was affecting the enviroment and her in the end. I would still say keeping it locked away instead of studying it is a bad choice because i would compare it to radiation, whos first discoverers/examiners all died by it, but imagine humanity would have never discovered radiation and all the technological benefits it brought in medical and energy applications because they were too afraid to study it in the first place? Specially thru the eyes of a Slytherin this would be ludicrous. Opening it to study the power wisely, not for own benefit is the true good ending.
She slammed the headmistress head first against a stone wall. That kills people, last time I checked. Captain turban instantly rose to the second place in my list of favorite characters after he abracadabred that gardening tool. You are completely right that the writing is canine excrement in this game, so I was frankly shocked that they actually managed to write a scene where character takes a decisive and justifiable action instead of allowing situation to deteriorate completely. I mean, I would say that they should have explored Isadora's power and actions more instead of turning her into a generic cartoon villain, but I'll go a step further and say that the entire "ancient magic" plot is stupid and should have been cut. They had the entirety of Wizarding World to play with, and instead of doing anything decent with all of that, they focused the main story on a dumb gimmick they invented and dungeons that look more like orokin levels from warframe than hogwarts. What a waste.
@@strawberry-parfait3922 actually, that would be ludicrous to a Ravenclaw Slytherin would want to play with the power. Ravenclaw wants to learn about it how they can use it to advance knowledge I don’t want to say technology, because they technically didn’t have it back then, but in today’s day and age, we want to advance the medical field technology environmental everything we want to learn as much as we can so we can make as much as we can better so we would take this magic play with it and learn about it and put it to use in so many good ways I feel like a slither in what accidentally blew up their cat?
I feel like this game could of been better if it prioritized quality over quantity. 90% of the map and side quests should of been cut and instead focused on main quests and relationship quests. Would rather had a 8-12 hour game rather then the 40 hours of ubisoft slop. I know it it sounds like I hate this game but its just my complaint about this game.
@@n0vitski It is canon for wizards to just erase bones by accident with spells and to regrow said bones with ZERO SIDE EFFECTS with a potion. So, I've chosen the evil ending but from, what I've seen it really didn't matter what ending was chosen because you don't really get anything from either ending and either way it goes the reservoir still manages to get opened. Man, I thought it was gonna be something special between them.
Kinda shame they didn't do something for the bad ending cosmetic wise. I remember Infamous 1 years ago you could reactivate the device that gave you your powers (it kills others) and if you did your lightning if evil went from red to black outline with red inside wish they did something similar
I choose to believe that the power absorption ending *IS* the good one. Some other random person is going to discover the Final Repository eventually. Why not use it yourself when you *KNOW* you will study it, and if it truly cannot be used for good without a heavy cost, it will die with you.
I was a good guy, but i chose the 'evil' choice because there was no, "lets open it and destroy it" option. So if we just left it, it's too dangerous. It's irresponsible to leave it.
There’s really no difference between the endings I did the “bad ending” in which I absorbed the power and use it for the betterment of the world keeping it away seems dumb
Honest to God don't know what the goblins are fighting for. I know Ranrok hates wizards and wants ancient magic sure, but to what end? Kill all wizards? Make a society every Goblins can use wands? Seriously the villain's are so weak in this. The main story was so underwhelming as well. I would have liked a proper good and bad ending.
Finally finished the game after 60+ hours, and i've some thoughts. As much as i loved the game, especially in the early hours of my time with it, the story did feel rather lax in places - wheter it was in going into detail on certain things, or the way characters behaved or talked about things in the world (story wise i mean), but to me this didn't become evident until just over the halfway point around 40 hours or so. When i reached the point where you "choose" what to do with the Repository, i was dissapointed that there was no option to simply release it and leave it to fizzle out on its own as thats what i felt to be the best choice - as keeping it under Hogwarts would only invite future power-hungry threats to the School, and claiming it for myself was out of my personal character as i was playing a Hufflepuff. Thinking on it this is what i'd consider a flaw in the story in that the game didn't go into great detail regarding the Ancient Magic used by Isidora to literally pull the pain and emotions from people - primarily how long do the effects really last (because if they were very long lasting, then Ranrok wouldn't have needed to frantically seek out the other repositories), because this could've influenced the final choices better if they were more fleshed out.
I kinda lost my sense of immersion when I realised my limited choices and actions did not matter. I think it was after I unlocked crucio that did it for me. I used it in battle on front of one of the side characters and they didn't even comment on it. They didn't care, and yet we have Sebastians storyline (which I really liked) in which him using the curses is a big deal. So I kinda stopped caring. Which is a shame cause I really liked the look and mechanics of the game. Yet as pretty as the game is it just felt inconsistent and like I was watching a movie play pit rather than play a role in the story.
@@Evolution-ld2he a fair bit of free time will do that lol but overall the gameplay was easy, so that helped me breeze through most of the combat. Exploration I got out of the way early the hard way - on foot because I didn’t want to miss anything important like butterfly chests or a dungeon. I honestly think there is no bad ending. After beating the game 4 times, getting the platinum trophy. The "bad" ending to me is really the "good ending" and the "good ending" is more of a "neutral ending"
Gryffindor and Hufflepuff would choose good ending. Ravenclaw and Slytherin would choose 'evil'. A Gryffindor's honor would demand that they take their role as the guardian of the ancient power seriously and not use it, while loyal Hufflepuff would never dream of betraying the keepers. On the other hand, a Ravenclaw's curiosity would not allow them to leave a treasure trove an ancient knowledge untapped, and an ambitious Slytherin certainly wouldn't pass up such immense power.
Well, I'm a Ravenclaw, and what I saw of this power let me think that it is to dangerous to be used without making a study of it. Ranrok is become completely crazy with it after all. That's why I keep the power sealed, and I inform professors when the situation calm down
As a Ravenclaw I chose the good ending not because it was initially my intention but because I was planning to save that for my secondary Slytherin character. Typical of a Ravenclaw since I didn’t want to disappoint professor Fig or worst get expelled 😂. We are so ridiculously competitive but unlike Slytherins, we’re academics first and foremost.
It does nothing, it’s always the same ending no matter what you choose or how you behave during the story. For me, the lack of morality system and the lack of multiple ending based on your actions stopped this from being an all time classic game, it’s still a good game, but feels kinda empty in the end
All I got was the ending where you’re irrevocably locked out of learning Avada kedavra. I thought for sure there might be another opportunity, but apparently not… I wasn’t even gonna use it that much, I just want to complete my spell set! This will irk me until the end of time!!
Its dissapointing that I didnt actually get anything when I chose the power. I wish it gave you some kinda permanent buff or at least something cosmetic like ur spells are all red electricity like ranrok or smth.
I'm confused. Mine didn't end like this. I chose the bad ending but when he asked if i were sure after everything i said i want to contain it to do good with it. So when i fought and defeated the dragon i didn't make that orb thing again i absorbed the power for myself for good.

The truth about this choice lies in evolution and competition. If anyone could wield a magic that's would be nothing special about it and there's no advantage of others.

When this game was coming out i swear i heard about you being able to chose the dark or light as being a death eater etc, really wished they made more for the game after you finishing school.
Ngl the ending confuses me because i got the bad ending, even though the whole playthrough i was good/spared when given the chance in all my choices. In the end i feel like i went neutral cause i said i wanted to open it but use the power for good and avoid the past mistakes of the witch before and since a lot of goblins now know of it they could drill again
i cryed my eyes out when Proffessor Fig died and found out that Sebastian got expelled from hogwarts do to proffesor Fig and Sebastian was my favorite carecters in hogwats legacy
I've finished the game a couple of days ago, i chose the "evil" ending, to be honest, didn't expect fig dying, so i felt bad for that. But, as a Slytherin, i thought that "evil" interactions fitted perfectly. Even the wand looked like an "evil"character's wand. I really enjoyed the game tough. Glad that its not just classes and go around the castle.
I’m not convinced that just avoiding the problem and keeping it locked away out of fear is “heroic” especially when that clearly just leaves it for villains to find and eventually access again. We could take it out and learn about it, all magic can be used for good or bad.
im confused cause i picked to leave the repository and not take the power or whatever but i dont know if i got the good ending or the true one? im guessing the true ending is if you turn in Sebastian and if you had 100% field guide? idk
I felt more cheated out of the field guide quests. It was more underwhelming, especially spending so many hours to find them all without looking for cheats on YT
I will *NOT* accept that as the true ending. Sebastian did nothing wrong. I wouldn't even send Voldemort to Azkaban. Horrible place. A fate worse than death. For a teenager who's been abused all his life--by his uncle, no less--would be the actual evil ending. Especially since I felt more attached to Sebastian and his story than the MC themselves.
But I don't understand, why is it a "Bad" ending if my character isn't a bad person? This makes no sense. I can see if my character was going down an evil path and then you would get indication that they will use the power for evil, but JUST because I choose to keep the power that makes my character what, evil by association? That doesn't make any sense!
You know, everything about this game was great... except for all 3 endings. You don't really get anything that's amazingly great for your gaming character like more advanced spells or the part where you get to keep the wand to have so much power when you choose the evil ending. The Good Ending was probably the most saddest one of them all, i felt bad for everyone including the main character that you play as, so disappointing! The True Ending is probably the most baffling ending of them all and it is sad to a certain degree but i think it's way better than the other two ending's, probably the most well-suited ending for my own customizable player. Overall, the game was amazing and there's a lot of depth, emotion, friendship, leadership, perks, and other fun activities to do like exploring in the game! I enjoyed it! I'll rate this game a solid 9/10, at least in my opinion. Probably the best Hogwarts game in ages!
It honestly took me to watch this to understand that there even was a difference between endings. Chose the evil ending and was not happy that my character ended up containing the magic anyway... very confusing and could have been better...
I love how Hogwarts Legacy has so many different accents and character origins, while the movies only accepted people with British accents/ could do a British accent.

Like we have a freaking Pheonix just do a cut scene or something where if you choose good he's recovering in St Mungo's or something! For God's sake they didn't need to destroy my heart like that! I'll never choose bad just because I never want to disappoint Fig but I won't deny the fact that in the long run what choice you made made no difference was...irritating.
What happened to Professor Fig when you choose the evil ending? I know he dies regardless, but I didn’t see his body in the evil ending.. I went with the good one btw (obviously)
oh man i hate this game so much... why even bother to implement choices. it's like in pokemon when the guy says "will you help me with the pokedex" and if you click no he will ask you over and over again until you say yes. yeah, that's perfect realism. or maybe it actually is... and it's a social statement :D how choice is an illusion and you're forced to run in circles until you die,

Honestly they didn’t even explain what Ancient Magic was supposed to do they just wanted to make sure you don’t follow Isadora’s footsteps
Ominis was kind and sensitive. A strange slytherin for sure.
Especially since hes a Gaunt, making him an ancestor of you know who
I think this game emphasized that not all Slytherins are as bad as the Potter storyline made it out to be for a while. Anne Ominis and Professor Sharpe are really good. Sebastian is also a really good kid who had bad things happen to him that eventually led him down a dark path. Also if you consider some of the other side characters in the game, they seem like decent people.
slytherins arent all bad guys! the series made it look like it but i feel like they’re pretty misunderstood id say
@@LeagueofShadows2021 are you suggesting that Snape was a villain sort of character in potters storyline.

Sadly they made it clear they won't do any DLC for the game........... I think their going to be doing other games one of which will be on the school in the US.
They said there are no plans for now: the game won’t be fully available on all platforms until end of July. After that I suspect talk of dlc
@@Patrick-xc7rd oh please no!
@Amanda maybe if we riot there will be 😅
Honestly I feel like the Evil ending can be interpreted in the different way.
EXACTLY!!! I wish I was seen as more evil as I used more unforgivable curses
When you select "I want the power for myself" and see Sebastian in the final quest line instead of Ominis. 😈😈😈
Ich chose the "good" Option and saw Sebastian too. 🤔
That’s only if you turn Sebastian in you see Ominis
Ominis only shows if you send sebastian to wizard jail. If you don't you'll see him in the ending.
@@conget wow you're such a dark wizard and I love it, we think alike
Hell they singlehandedly turned the place around hogwarts from a desert to an oasis with a single spell. You really think one depulso shot is enough to kill one of the four? Hell you can spam depulso at a student, bouncing them off the wall like a fucking tennis ball without killing them, why would a "master" wizard/witch die with a single spell?

14:45.. Man this Game has such a beautiful soundtrack
So happy to see someone else appreciate the score during this scene! Ngl, it tugged on my heartstrings
The beginning intro to Hogwarts had my arm hairs stand up so fast, it shaved themselves.
I thought the evil ending would be more spectacular but no one actually knows you‘ve become bad bc fig died and no one else was around
I been the good guy all game now I want the power😈

I choose to believe that the power absorption ending *IS* the good one. Some other random person is going to discover the Final Repository eventually. Why not use it yourself when you *KNOW* you will study it, and if it truly cannot be used for good without a heavy cost, it will die with you.
@@ecrradio7620 hmm that’s true
How on earth can you finish this game in 60 plus hours? It took me almost a month and I’m still discovering more secrets.
@@Evolution-ld2he a fair bit of free time will do that lol but overall the gameplay was easy, so that helped me breeze through most of the combat.

@@Fernzz06 yes i realized Ty!
Great video mate! Thank you for making this.

Interesting cuz I’m a slytherin and I chose the good ending so what does that say about your statement?
Well, I'm a Ravenclaw, and what I saw of this power let me think that it is to dangerous to be used without making a study of it. Ranrok is become completely crazy with it after all. That's why I keep the power sealed, and I inform professors when the situation calm down
@@envyhunny5985 same lol
As a Ravenclaw I chose the good ending not because it was initially my intention but because I was planning to save that for my secondary Slytherin character. Typical of a Ravenclaw since I didn’t want to disappoint professor Fig or worst get expelled 😂. We are so ridiculously competitive but unlike Slytherins, we’re academics first and foremost.

Thanks to mods, you can choose the evil ending and be insanely powerful, but what's the fun then.
What's the mod called ?
I wish there was an option to keep the power for yourself and get a boost
I’m honestly confused about what the evil ending does because I only saw the red eyes nothing else…
It does nothing, it’s always the same ending no matter what you choose or how you behave during the story. For me, the lack of morality system and the lack of multiple ending based on your actions stopped this from being an all time classic game, it’s still a good game, but feels kinda empty in the end
Nothing.
Good ending and based ending
I'm confused. Mine didn't end like this. I chose the bad ending but when he asked if i were sure after everything i said i want to contain it to do good with it. So when i fought and defeated the dragon i didn't make that orb thing again i absorbed the power for myself for good.

Read about the the plot on Wikipedia there are 2 choices for the main character to decide what to do with the ancient Sorcery either to keep the Ancient Sorcery hidden for anyone with Heroism in them to use that power on any occasions or absorb the power for themselves RIGHT THERE RIGHT NOW.
Already know which is the Good Superhero Ending.
I also know the other one is badish but I prefer to call Anti Regulation Hero ending mostly depends on how the gamers uses the Protagonists Complete Potential Ancient Sorcery Advanced Powers even in the upcoming New Hogwarts Legacy Two Game. Haven't seen the videos about those endings don't want spoilers did not read about how bad is Fig's Injuries no spoilers on Fig that's why I just read them on wiki just so you know. Are there just 2 achievements for one of those 2 original endings either choose Superhero or Anti Regulation Hero Ending then the second achievement for the True Bonus ending? Or is there 3 Separate Endings One Game File you accomplish by getting the Superhero Ending then other Game File finish the game with the Anti Regulation Hero Ending then get the True Ending?

Ngl the ending confuses me because i got the bad ending, even though the whole playthrough i was good/spared when given the chance in all my choices.
I love how they tribute or honor Fig in the game as professor Fig! To me that’s an honor to Fig the fib
Professor figs death with evil choices is savage
I want the power definitely
@Christian Barbour sucks we should’ve had buffs
I chose to keep the power to help Anne - I regret that desicion now - I thought it would do a difference.
Sebastián coming back from azkaban looking like hagrid, and hes coming for you
Why they had to killed him? I hate this game my heart is broken.
I wonder how many of you choose the bad ending because you thought by getting it you'd have some kind of power boost from it.
Choose your Ending Good or Bad
What happens if you take the one he didnt show?? Example “I intend to keep it contained here” and then “I shall keep it secret forever”
Do you even get to use Miriam’s wand after choosing the bad ending? Just out of curiosity.
Nope, you just have the good ending's outcomes unfortunately and you don't have a greater power after having the bad ending either
Isn't this the ONLY Hogwarts Game??
I don't really see the difference between good and true ending, I mean it all happened to me.
There are a lot of different accents in the movies and books, what are you talking about?

same with the graphorn. if i attacked it, it should've simply died. and then you take a part of its body or so to the cave to enter, as a proove that you killed aka conquered it. this is a not a new story-line it's just a minor inconveniency when you notice you can't ride it.
or you can make it even easier and take one of those side quests you already have and make it all about healing the graphorn up again after you almost killed it.
