I would honestly watch the entire film from beginning to end like this. It is endlessly fascinating seeing all the work that went into this production. I loved the film and am so sad we still haven't gotten a sequel yet..
I am so impressed with Jamie's acting I just can't tell you. Serkis is amazing too, but he's been doing this for years. Jamie takes to it like a natural. It seem like acting in mo-cap you have to be theatre-stage quality or higher, because you know on the stage all your actions have to be exaggerated, but with enthusiasm, not cheesiness, and that's what he manages to do so very well. I don't know if I'm making sense, but ah. He is so perfect for the role. *Tintin fanngirls some more*
Just saw it on Netflix. Got on Google to learn more about Tintin. Found this video. So glad I did! That is awesome! I didn't know that animation was possible, and I didn't know that's how they made this movie, so awesome they didn't just have to voice their characters, but they got to do the actions too!! This movie really had me going, I couldn't look away, except til the part where they began flying into the storm. What a movie. Thanks for putting this video together of behind the scenes.
This is just so amazing and cool! You can tell the difference between a rigged animation and the natural body language from an actor. This movie was done brilliantly thanks to this performance motion capture technology! Excellent job! Now someone has to share the video how the 3D modellers did their texturing! XD
I really admire the actours here, my school is one of the less in my country that works with motion capture, I've worn a motion capture suit once myself and it's pretty uncomfortable and kinda hard to move in. So it's awesome to see they can still act just fine
Woah the a picture rendering!! Really interesting to see the work the went in after and how much they could actually see during filming. More than other mo cap and cgi I would think.
All of the actors here deserve Oscar. I still can't imagine how could they still be in character while swimming near an imaginary boat on an imaginary sea (or mattress) while someone throwing a toy dog to them and they are not laughing at all!
Steven spielberg should make ALL tintin stories... He can interprets the story exactly like in the comics without changing it or make different twist but somehow make it more attractive. I think it's just like all tintin stories fans want
I watched the movie, it's so good you should really watch it if you've red the comic books and watched the drawed ones! Its so realistic, yet keeps the Herge part but adds some spielbergness like the action scenes, really awesome, i hope many more of these are yet to come. We need Rocket to the moon anyways :)!
This is so cool! I haven't seen the movie yet but am gonna as soon a s I possibly can! After seeing the trailer, now I know how they made it look so relistic! :D
its so odd to see peter jackson now, i really didnt regonise him now he's lost weight. i cant wait to see this film being a major tintin fan, though i have to wait till i get it on dvd :(
@TeeHeeStudios2000 I'm actually really glad there wasnt. I'm sick of every film having to be about love. It's so refreshing to just see an adventure film!

Development tartarus
The snowy figure is killing me
The dog part XD
is cute

I thought this was 100% animated but they used actors and animated them. Mind blown!
Katgirl217 it saves time
I knew it was done by MC!
They literally lied.
IKR!!!
@@StephenDdunguMusic You know nothing.
seeing Peter Jackson in the same room as Steven Spielberg as well as them working on the same film is mind blowing!
I didn't know this was done with mocap! Now I see why the animation was so good.
Andy is like the motion capture legend
Jamie's voice is sexy
and it matched so well with how they made Tin Tin look.
Oh God, I'm 20 and crushing on a cartoon character...again. lol.
Sk8terGaMer89 lmao
Sk8terGaMer89 Tintin was my first fictional crush
Tbh he is still my crush lol
Fun and true fact: Thomas Sangster supposed to voiced Tintin. He's also the candidates. But Spielberg onto Jamie since he has better voice.
SpiceEmpress ur not alone
no wonder the animation was so smooth!
I’m actually waiting for the sequel more than Avatar 2...
Well, Avatar 2 is out. But there’s some semi good news for you. They’re making a Tintin game
Still waiting for the sequel
It'll be released in 2027!!
Damn it. Every time I see Daniel Craig in a nice suit, it's so hard to imagine anyone else but James Bond.
When Daniel Craig walks into a room, everyone holds their breath ...
When Steven Spielberg walks into a room, Daniel Craig holds his breath.
Steven Spielberg is super legend

You gotta love the dog :) especially at the end when they jump and the dog is just tossed down with them

The awkward moment when you realize the Gollum, James Bond, and Dobby were all in this movie. O.o
So are the Thing from the Fantastic four and Benji from Mission Impossible
I love this movie! Very well done and a great continuation of the great series I grew up reading
3:05 Now WHY didn't they put this dance in the movie?!
I really admire the actours here, my school is one of the less in my country that works with motion capture, I've worn a motion capture suit once myself and it's pretty uncomfortable and kinda hard to move in. So it's awesome to see they can still act just fine
Jamie: To Bagar!
Andy: To Bagar! *spits in hand and shakes Jamie's*
Jamie: *realizes that Andy actually spit in his hand.*
XD
Tintin and snowy are my favorite characters ,from the movie tintin .
Such an incredible film, they tried so hard and it really did pay off
Wow. Motion capture requires so much imagination. Incredible.
this is fascinating i wish i could see the whole movie like this
he's playing the part of the villian, believe it or not. and he did it fantastic!
Using Milou / Snowy plushie during the motion capture? Genius! XD
It's amazing wonderful awesome movie hope to see more like This
This is beautiful
Wow. Seriously. Just wow. I can't wait to see this.
*tinting and haddock jumps out window* *snowy plops down beside them* XD
For ever my love Jamie Bell.
I saw the movie and I can't imagine the work that had to go through. Acting in such envroinment is not easy at all.
Good job
Woah the a picture rendering!! Really interesting to see the work the went in after and how much they could actually see during filming. More than other mo cap and cgi I would think.
I just love.. Jamie's voice
All of the actors here deserve Oscar. I still can't imagine how could they still be in character while swimming near an imaginary boat on an imaginary sea (or mattress) while someone throwing a toy dog to them and they are not laughing at all!
This movie is so good. Amazing how both Peter Jackson and Steven Speilberg worked on it!
Brilliant! Thanks for uploading!
Adventures of Tintin is the best movie… and I’m wanted to become an actor just like Jamie bell.😊
The seaplane pilots at 3:55 - 4:42 are played by Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights) and Phillip Rhys (TV's Nip/Tuck)
Love you tin tin
I would just love the job of throwing snowy around lol =) That is hilarious

Daniel Craig played Ivan Ivanovich Sakharine.
So thing literally renders the damn thing on set, this thing is powerful
wow you never think this much goes into this THANK YOU EVERYONE INVOLVED even those who got the teas and coffees!! :)
This is so cool! I haven't seen the movie yet but am gonna as soon a s I possibly can! After seeing the trailer, now I know how they made it look so relistic! :D
the world become more and more sophisticated
My favorite characters are Tinti
Working with Speilberg and Peter Jackson = Working with Newton and Albert Eienstine
I want a second one so badly
Haha look at the Snowy prop 😆😆
My god Captain Hadock, its the Caesar.
That's because James is more than a director... he is a pioneer who just happens to also direct.
So freakin hillarious. sure i will buy the dvd full features for this one!! xD
I make my own films and after seeing this it's made me really want to move on to motion capture some day!
so damn good movie, hope the next one gonna be even more awesome (if even possible xD)
These are freaking amazing crews. Kudos to Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg
just went & saw the movie , and now these figures are scaring me hehe
How awesome isn't it to see Spielberg and Jackson standing next to each other?
It's pretty amazing technology has come this far now that you really think about it
Spielberg and Jackson in the same room? ::Head explodes::
This will be sooo amazingly epic!
This beat Avatar in everything!
that's AMAZING!!!!
What? You got stephen spielberg and peter jackson to direct the movie? Damn two amazing directors at once, this movie should win an oscar at that year
Its crazy how they make those things lol
it must be hard to acting in such enviroment.... great movie~!! it worth it~
OMG I laughed watching "Snowy" on set XD
Chi chi like filming of the Avatar - thats very funny. xD
I would argue with the biggest fan... but if you say so, you can be the biggest fan.
Shame on the Academy for saying that motion capture isn't acting.
andy serkis used to motion capture. like : Rise of The Planet of The Apes, LoTR, and Tintin, etc... he's good at it. love him
Property of Paramount Global, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amblin Partners.
Jamie: Captain!
i really need to see this film... i feel like such an outcast hah
I wanna be on a film set specially on volume so bad
When will they release the sequel...
Jackson and Spielburg in the same room. jizz.
Loved this.movie, genious
This must have been really awkward to film
Tom Holland as a Tintin.. Yeah thats would be cool
To be a part of this, I would love it.
its so odd to see peter jackson now, i really didnt regonise him now he's lost weight. i cant wait to see this film being a major tintin fan, though i have to wait till i get it on dvd :(
This must have been a lot of work
An animated film directed by Spielberg, produced by Peter Jackson, writing by Edgar Wright
This should be the movie! Don't bother about animating it. It'd win comedy of the year!
How did they film the part where they crash land and the propeller almost slices them.
this film would have been fucking fun to make.
and billy elliot.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Avatar, but that had loads of MoCap...
02:08 - 02:38 - this part isn't in the actuall movie, they propably cut it for time
@TeeHeeStudios2000 I'm actually really glad there wasnt. I'm sick of every film having to be about love. It's so refreshing to just see an adventure film!
Excellent video, the movie was a lot of fun.
3:13 - 3:22 just cracks me up,so funny.
;
i don't know why but i want to give steven spielberg a cookie.
3:42 LOL!!! Snowy!!!
I think this part didn't make it in the final.
I know, it would be like a dream come true...
@srkdarr yea. I love that they drew a face on him :D
She. Will the next part come 😭
