The multi-player gun attachment system is now the CoD standard. It's crazy how innovative this game was for MP just for it to fall flat because of CoD fanboys shitting on it.
Cod fan boy never bashed it. EA killed it by releasing it at the worst time, poor marketing and legal issues make EA pull the plug of the game after release after 1 month. And force the developer to merge with DICE to release the Battlefield hardline. It was EA killing the game.
@@boocombanIt was absolutely ridiculous they killed this game so early, after I bought the game full price on preorder. Never made that mistake again, it was the beginning of a trend.
The game also didn't play as smooth as I would've liked. I was never a CoD person, I enjoyed battlefield, and later squad. There was something about the way this game played that just didn't feel right. The character movement just always felt clunky and clumsy compared to either battlefield or squad. AA3 also felt smoother than Medal of honor warfighter. With that said, I enjoyed this game and the 2010 predecessor. I loved playing pointman with the LaRue OBR 5.56, just plugging away rounds semi-auto only felt so satisfying. Shotgun secondary for close quarters.
That's true, they did a good job of making teamwork with your fireteam buddy and skill be the way to win. And there were interesting synergies between classes, like if your buddy wanted to just sit back and be a sniper, but you didn't, you could go for pointman and take the LaRue OBR 5.56 and be his backup, or you could take the AK-103 and cover his six in close quarters combat, or you could be support using your MG to stop the enemy team from moving in open, allowing your buddy to pick off heads. Or you could be an all rounder as assault with the M4V1 or 416.
They need to remake this game. Such an under appreciated game, if it was reintroduced today I think it would be popular with the limited selection of “realistic” war games cause COD and battlefield ain’t it
this game got shrouded by the shadow that is call of duty. i remember when it came out all people would say, is that it was a call of duty clone. thats pretty much it. that alone killed it. the aggressive marketing from infinity ward killed it too. they made sure they were the ones on top and did so.
@@sasquatchcrewcod can't be a clone but it was steven Steinberg original vision medal of honor but the game couldn't deliver. Hence the original dev of medal of honor left and created infinity ward to make call of duty 1.
for those who don't know/remember cause everyone on the internet has short term memory loss; this game had allot of drama behind the scenes due to NSW getting involved with the development of the game due to SEALs expounding information about the Bin-Laden raid before it was public information. The game had the DOD intervening purposefully. Allot of the game stopping development early was due to this.
MOHW is truly a badass shooter. I always said Battlefield needed to be more of Warfighter. To learn there are modded servers for PC from this vid is awesome, I might be able to play it again.
Two of the best games I’ve played the first Medal of Honor was brilliant especially with the sniping and flying a Apache helicopter the combat was really intense going up against real enemies the second one was really good but not as great as the first one they are a shadow of a doubt better than the call of duty games
I wish it got more love. I loved being able to select a country to represent, I think all games should implement that. Yeah call of duty has kind of done this, but the guns and classes in this game were sick. I remember having a lot of fun with it.
I remember in 2012 I had to make a decision to choose either Warfighter or Black Ops 2 for Christmas. I grew up on Medal of Honor on my PS2 but when I had upgraded to a PS3 all I played was Black Ops 1. Difficult decision but I decided to go with Black Ops 2 and thank God I did bc that was the right decision. No hate on Warfighter but still to this day I never got the chance to play it and i kinda wish I did.
If EA would do what COD did and turn their servers for this and 2010 back online and put them back in the store for the series x and ps5 people, there would 100% be a community for it. Maybe be small, but still a community nonetheless. Shit I’d play it more than today’s battlefield or COD.
To I still have this game as from what I remember I loved this game especially the door breaches are pretty cool also you should play medal of honor airborne
I play campaign only and i enjoyed both 2010 and Warfighter. In many ways I prefer them to the latest COD releases, i hate cod forcing me to plays as russians or even brits, i just want a game where i can play as an infantry grunt, with regular weapons
EA wanted this game to compete with COD but it had a budget 1/4 of the size. It wasn't ready but they pushed it out for financial reasons. EA forced a lot of last minute changes to the game. The single player missions are actually presented out of order in the final game -- the Philippines was supposed to be the first mission. The Pakistan mission with the exploding shipping containers and the terrorist training tutorial were added and Somalia was pushed to the front of the game very late in development to "put more action in." The result was the story didn't make a lot of sense until about halfway through the game. The first game took place in 2001. MOH: Warfighter takes place roughly in 2009-2011 timeframe. A prequel/sequel was planned for the Sony Vita that would have talked about Dusty (including how he lost his leg and left the military) in the 2003-2006 timeframe, mostly in Iraq -- but it was cancelled in development when the Sony Vita platform didn't sell well.
Whoever thought of making the next Medal of Honor game to be a VR exclusive needs to be fired!!! Seriously, they couldn't just went the safe route and remade the original 1999 game for modern consoles? Throw in a preview of the Medal of Honor Frontline Remake, too?
This was how i coaxed my cod friends into dipping their toe into battlefield and other more "hardcore" fps, it really depresses me EA just gave up, i wish instead of bf hardline they gave visceral the medal of honor franchise a crack or something, EA really is a hs girl so reactionary cod is basically mimicking this taticool style good job EA 😂 you had it literally so close and tbf alot of the hate was 13 year old who didnt like that their favorite franchise had competition but still
EA ruined another franchise. The people behind making warfighter and 2010 MoH were dedicated to giving a balanced game of fun and authenticity. It’s unfortunate it didn’t get more time. I loved the multiplayer modes and single player.

Love cod, but understandable
There were so many FPS mechanics in this game that were actually innovative. Unfortunate so many folks missed out on it.

Medal of honor came out way before call of duty.
In fact, people who used to work in Medal of Honor went to work on the first games in the Call of Duty franchise.
Only 4 years earlier
This was my favorite online multiplayer, the classes were so balanced.

The online matches were spectaular. I miss this game so much.
I will never understand why EA refuses to release these two games onto current consoles. EA sucks.
Because EA were nearly destroyed by legal actions from the NAVY SEALS because they put withheld information into MOH with Roberts Ridge
Moh is sooooo under rated. Moh 2010 goated multiplayer 🤘🏽

It was even a wheel in the eventual fraud exposure of Marcus Luttrell and what really happened to John Chapman

1 of my all time fav multiplayers, I know it had it's issues but the middle ground between battlefield and cod was awesome, I miss that game!
Still the best CoD multiplayer ever made. I may boycott EA but if they remastered this i would pay 70 for it.
This game was WAY ahead of its time.

It wasn't the c4 made that explosion, it's the PETN explosive in the truck's cargo.
I miss this game so much. The guns, selecting your aesthetic from world wide special forces, the movement... I was so sad when they closed the servers
I remember mine crashed at exactly the same moment. I never got past that part because of the bug. Ended up watching a play through instead
I think the multi-player aspect of this game would hit better today than it did when it came out. Thoroughly enjoyed progressing online
I need this game to remastered so I can play it again
This has been my favorite multi-player experience to date.
Still better than COD nowadays
still the only shooter to put the aimpoint T1 on a riser with a flip to side magnifier. Such a sick combo
The ending to this game slaps you in the face with the feels.
MOH, by danger close, triggered my blood pressure, had flashbacks of my time in the Marines during OIF 03, great game played it once PTSD is a bitch!
I wish it got more love. I loved being able to select a country to represent, I think all games should implement that. Yeah call of duty has kind of done this, but the guns and classes in this game were sick. I remember having a lot of fun with it.
multiplayer of this game was awesome. I loved the buddy system where you could spawn on a buddy and share ammo. Super fun
I remember that we were able to choose different countries in the classes.... great memories

I tried finding this game in xbox digital store not too long ago. Would love to play it on X or PC

i like it and the Osama Raid style
The unlimited ammo on pistols is sensational, also stabbing dead enemies is hilariously violent.
I preferred the multiplayer to COD and battlefield when this came out. The ballistic physics was realistic and fun.
man i miss this game
This game was so good
By far my favorite game I played growing up!!
The way to open doors was unique.
I only remember playing the Multiplayer as the Polish SF, was awesome
Wish we could still play online on 360😢😢😢
To I still have this game as from what I remember I loved this game especially the door breaches are pretty cool also you should play medal of honor airborne
I love the concept of the multiplayer I love all the sf operators
I played this and 2010 more than COD. God how I wish they could just turn the servers back on.
I play campaign only and i enjoyed both 2010 and Warfighter.
In many ways I prefer them to the latest COD releases, i hate cod forcing me to plays as russians or even brits, i just want a game where i can play as an infantry grunt, with regular weapons
The PC version of the game on EA quits working on me halfway through the campaign.
Frostbite 2 was on Battlefield 2.
I played it on xbox till it shut down quick when it came out was savage pvp quick time to kill epic modes also og one on og xbox was dope to
I loved the multiplayer on the ps3. it was so good
This campaign was so underrated

Dusty and Nomad(cannon face) are same style they cap they have a big Beard and fun fact they both Delta Force
The dude from Junkyard Digs looks similar too
I really wanted to play this game but never had the chance
Them quotes in the beginning used to hit
Ahead of its time probably keep up better now with these current.. need bring all them back f it $20 recopys & untouched editions for next gens.. 💬
Favorite game from that era.
Campaign is was 5 years behind it's time, multiplayer was 5 years ahead.
Warfighter online was easily the most fun and frustrating thing ever created

This was the only game that was realistic then cod and battlefield. Sad that it will never be rebooted after we die in year 3000.
Ive wanted to play it and now i cant find it on steam
I don't want to get a job
Probably way ahead it’s time
Battlefield 3 and 4 are on frostbite 3 not 2
2:15 holy shit they put Ghost Rider in the game
The game is kinda generic but I really like the artstyle and the realism, MW2019 and this game is similar in terms of those two.
Funny i played the pc version and had no issues
It crashed to with me on ps3, it's probably not only the disc
