hair can also drag you down. I kept my hair very long for many years because i wanted it like a curtain, protecting but also hiding me. After cutting it, i was finally able to grow beyond that stage in my development
Speaking of hairs, I’ve had a number of instances where I was commuting on peak hour and everyone in the train were shoulders to shoulders. This woman’s long hair just lightly touched my arm and I feel repulsed by it. Agreeing with you, the hair is such a majestic expression, not in a vain way, but in a spiritual way. Love this content, keep it up 🙌
This is so true! I used to hate my hair, even though it’s realllllly thick and quite nice, because I went to different hairstylists every time that had no idea how to work with it, and honestly seemed like they’d rather just be over with it. But the past couple years, I was going through a hard time, but I found a stylist I loved and I noticed that every time I cut it or changed it my vibe would change for the better. I used to think that spending on my hair was a waste of money because I figured my hair would always look crazy 😂 but I was really just avoiding taking care of myself and pretending I didn’t care when I really did. Honestly being like scared in your body about making a hair change you wanna make is such a sign that youre holding on way too much about how other people think. So dye it! Cut it! Find a stylist you like! Do it yourself if that’s your vibe! I agree 100% ☺️
The term for magic using a change in appearance is glamour magic. I felt called to cover my hair for a number of years, but largely ignored it. Then, I lived in a house with a problem housemate, and I decided, now might as well be the time, I could use an extra measure of magical protection. It’s turned out to help me in so many ways. I didn’t think I was an energetically sensitive person, but it turned out after I covered my hair, I got less tired with both socializing in public, and with phone calls. It’s really made a massive improvement on my quality of life. My husband can see auras. He saw them naturally as a boy, lost it when he got older, then relearned as an adult. He says when I wrap my hair, it’s like a cap on top of my aura, my aura extends less far from the top of my head than when my hair is not wrapped. He’s middle eastern, and it’s led to some funny situations where people assume him being middle eastern and me with my hair covered (even if I’m not in proper hijab) means that we’re Muslim, when we’re not.
I have always believed this about my hair even people with different hair types. Hair is not JUST hair. Be careful who touches it. A lot of the time I always do my own hair, trimming, dye, applying heat and that’s because I can set up my candles. Focus on what old version of me wants to shed. The only reason I might allow someone to touch my hair is if my spirit trusts them and they might be able to help me with a style. Ive even had locs before (I am black) dreadlocs are the most obvious form of antennas. When I actually had them I could feel how sensitive my scalp is. There is no hate to normal girls who enjoy weaves and wigs but I always feel more connected to those with natural hair. Black hair had a delicate history and my favorite fact about our hair is that its anti-gravity and it looks like anime hair in real life. Thank you so much for this video, ❤
Girl - I cut my long hair on Tuesday and I was thinking about you when cutting it (not knowing you cut yours as well!). I was thinking about the spiritual significance of the hair cut and also what your thoughts would be on this topic and now I see this video. Synchronicities are top tier 🤍 much love from Germany!
I love your candid and sharp observations about human psychology and unspoken inferences we make about one another. Although I’m not a particularly spiritual person, the events you mention as anecdotes are always so inspiring to think about naturalistically with respect to the question: what causes us to see ourselves and each other the way we do? I generally find your analyses fairly spot on
I feel this so much! I always wash my hair after every time I leave the house. Sometimes I feel as though my hair absorbs energy and having too much of other peoples’ dead energy makes me feel groggy and sluggish. This also applies to clothes, I like hanging my worn clothes on hangers and sun bathing them to cleanse any energy lurking in them. I also notice I sometimes change my hair after significant events to match my current energy. I noticed that every time I start a new job or phase in my life I naturally change my style after settling into the new energy. This might also explain why my changes are always stagnant or “late” because I tend to make personal changes after my environment has changed. I also recently dyed my hair, I like the aesthetic but not sure about it making as significant a change as a chop. I may have even chosen a colour that is more pleasing to my eyes than to what I need though.
Love this, Wan Lin! 🌟 The idea of a haircut as an emotional and spiritual release is so powerful 💇♀💖 Shedding the old to make space for new energy-totally inspiring! ✨🌱
Thank you for your video, Wan Lin! I always get excited when you post. This video in particular resonated with me. Most of my life I used to put my hair down when I went in public. I used my hair ike a curtain to hide from people because I was scared of being misunderstood. I did not feel comfortable to show people who I actually was. It almost felt like giving authority to others was a "safer" option than facing the world. Then I noticed that I always put my hair up when I am by myself or around people that I love and trust. And just last night before you posted this video I consciesly decided to leave my hair up and to literally "face the world" when I went to my yoga practice. It felt right, it felt empowering. It also made me want to open up my shoulders and to be more aware of my posture. Also, intuitively every time after shower I collect the hair that sheds and put it outside for the birds to make a nest! I used to discard it in the rubbish bin but it never felt like the right things to do. Thank you for your insightful videos!
Wow I love this!! I used to hide my face behind my hair when I didn't feel confident about how I looked too, it was like a curtain... but now I love both different styles, and you are so right about collecting it properly. 🩵✨

OMG I never thought of hair coverings that way but what you experienced makes total sense!! 🪷

I LOVE THIS FOR US 💖
Same, I was thinking of shaving my head for the first time and came across this video

I love the idea of drying clothes in the sun! I'm gonna try that ✨🌞✨

And what if there’s no hair to speak of left? What does that tell you about my soul? A beautiful life.
