I also have the same red order from STC, but it was MK3 instead of the MK4 back to two months ago after they have resupply for the grinder. this is the second grinders I have, like you, I have JE-Plus from 1ZPRESSO but that burr from that grinder did not bring out the flavors like the C40 for pullover style coffee. Since you have a open box vlog, I am recommend you make another one after using it after a months from your user experience stand point, the more you play with it in different dial in for different kind of beans in pullover style, I am sure you will find a never ending telling experience of this C40, in the mean while, stay enjoy every grind.
Just wanted to say 'Thanks' for talking about the different grinders you have experience with. I was considering a 1ZPRESSO grinder to grind espresso. But rethinking it if the Comandante really brings out the flavors of the bean. Much to think about...
