Prostitution is women empowerment? what nonsense! Just trying to glorify prostitution in this video. Selling their own body to earn a living and trying make it look like a normal job which not possible. Anyone who has dignity and respect for themself and their body will stay away from such work. Firstly, I do not have anything against sex workers, terms and conditions applied. I do not think that this should be stated as a symbol of ‘women empowerment’ as stated by him. it may be a job that is done out of compulsion or necessity. bringing this into the mainstream is necessary, but the right way is very important. glorifying sex work does not justify the injustice that is happening to them rather talking about the problems and risks that are associated with it will do greater good. I do like to highlight the statement, equality above all. everyone irrespective of their caste, creed job should be treated equally. I do not believe in bringing prostitution as a ‘work opportunity’ into the lime-lights. As much as we think that does good, Sadly, does more harm than anticipated.

I mean we shouldn't promote them bt we shouldn't hate them either. They are in such a situation becoz they brought up in such a environment we as a society have failed, if such people have to sell their bodies to earn. Bt we also respect them as humans and try to understand the places they come from. Bt the thing is where there is need there is a industry. In my Opinion they should stop this kind of work. Instead of this work, there are various other areas of this ecosystem from where they can earn money. This is like touching the tip of the iceberg. These women are mostly aged and come from a family associated with this profession, moreover Sangli is a tier 3 city. The battle against prostitution is not even against women like these, but against the mass kidnapping of young teenage girls who are tortured to submission and are usually enslaved in red light districts of tier 1 cities. They are the ones that need saving. These young women, who come from primary school educated poor to college going middle class girls who are forced into this sector by criminals and slave traders without their consent and the level of torture they face is unspeakable. Putting a blanket ban on prostitution or giving prostitution a green is more detrimental to society, needs thorough investigation.

You lost my respect in This video. Helping and highlighting those who are abducted and forced in this work is very good initiative but making documentary type video on how this works is not good. I don't hate sex workers but you should have covered this in some other form. These ladies are telling they had financial problem so they entered this field, is this really good because then those making onlyfans should also be appreciated? Sex work should be decriminalised but it should not be accepted or normalised. Ask any of the sex workers if they would want their sons and daughters to work in the same line. I don’t think anyone would want it for their own children. Sex workers should be respected and given security in the form of better policies and enforcement. At the same time it should be phased out of society. If anyone wants to do it they can do it on their own but it should not be an industry. It only propagates trafficking and oppression of young women.
