These kinds of instructors would have motivated me to continue school. They truly care and even have credit to their students for something they created instead of claiming it themselves.
That made me shed a tear 🥲
You're right that school would be a better place if we had more things like this, but it's not always teachers. Sometimes it's resources, or entitled parents refusing to talk to their kid about behavior, which leads to potential lawsuits. Like, this video is so easily a lawsuit waiting to happen when you get the wrong parents and kids involved. There's also the issue of less negative consequences toward reckless behavior in schools these days. The teachers are powerless in stopping kids from hurting themselves, but still get blamed when it happens. This is why so much of this is being taken away. Teachers are left with all the responsibility, but there's no accountability for administration, parents, or students. Having nice things requires structure that motivates everyone to treat the nice things nicely.
Except coming up with demos like this for every single lesson for every single subject is really difficult, and on top of that, teachers have a limited amount of time to cover a certain amount of material and don't always have the luxury of teaching it in a "fun" way. Yes, it's nice when a teacher is passionate about their work and creative enough to make each day fun, but I don't think that should be their obligation. Education is the most reliable path towards a brighter future, and if that isn't motivation enough for some then they can find their own path and place in the world.
The things students share with their teachers make the BEST teaching tools.

@@khel_ That's the same explanation
Indefinite
Thank you! And fun to see ‘the professor’ again.
I may need to have one of these made. I cant quite understand why of all 3 laws the third is the most difficult for students to grasp.
I think it is because we are used to remain stationary with our feet on the ground, when we are pushing things. So this whole concept that inanimate objects "pushes back", seems a bit alien.
Because there is usually always a HUGE difference in masses, when things are actually being pushed in real life, we don't really notice the reaction-forces, because they result in almost no movement or get's "eaten up" by friction, and so on.
I am a civilengineer student, and it took a while for me to grasp it myself, and I STILL feel a bit odd about it to be honest.
Casually calls the other teacher heavy in her own language...
...two people have a larger mass than 1.
I am constantly astonished by Texas A&M’s physics department lectures - all of the professors seem to communicate the concepts so well

Which is why larger black holes would attract smaller masses quicker?
Mass and density aren’t the same, no?
@@mikewhocheeseharry5292 the word he used was “mass” not density
@@lpmlearning2964gravity is nothing like pulling on something
No, because "everybody brought mass to the party", when determining acceleration due to gravity.
More mass makes the force greater, and it also makes the inertia greater. You have mass in the numerator, and mass in the denominator, when you solve for acceleration. As a result, as long as the mass the black hole is attracting, is an insignificant fraction of its own mass, the free fall rate is independent of the mass it is attracting.
@@mikewhocheeseharry5292 all black holes have infinite density

I tried this with your mom but I went so fast I got airborne. I’ve been flying for 8 minutes. Someone help.
Dumb.
Yo momma so big that when I landed on her while she bounced on a trampoline, I was launched to the moon and back!
This can also be explained by the law of conservation of momentum.
You are not applying external force on the system so the centre of mass of the entire system should remain stationary. And as one person moves, the second person moves with same speed in opposite direction so that the acceleration and velocity of the center of mass remains zero. And they meet where the centre of mass actually was from the beginning.
Hey! Fun demonstration.
Furthermore- if we were to consider the two carts as the system, then the pulling forces behave as internal forces and cancel out and so- we can say that the net forces acting on the system is 0, and the centre of mass of the system is at rest.
I've learnt this as a concept, but it's very interesting to see this.☺️
