Teachers that are really passionate you can tell , those are the ones who really teach because you never know what will happen and it's fun. Those teachers deserve more love

He also had a funky grading system. I had him for AP Earth Science, and he was great. He’s approximately 25% of the reason I want to go into some sort of STEM field.

Then treat the profession right, pay them a slary that corrsponds their education and in 15 years you'll have this. But as it is now, it is not worth the education path to go there nor it is satisfying.
I think most teachers like doing the hands on stuff but that doesn't mean they don't have to teach uninteresting things too. You can't just do a seminar like this an understand all of physics.

When they don't care about teachers it's kids they are harming. At the point they are now they're recruiting anyone cause no sane qualified young person would join education. Honestly that's something I could only dream about a teacher physically showing how physics affect the world instead of some derivations and definitions although I have graduated Collage and did understood the derivative properties of various physical elements I just wasn't ever as enthusiastic about learning it because it's boring to read that thick 800 - 1200 pages book if you get what I mean

We all need more teachers like this. In every school...
Then treat the profession right, pay them a slary that corrsponds their education and in 15 years you'll have this. But as it is now, it is not worth the education path to go there nor it is satisfying.

I think most teachers like doing the hands on stuff but that doesn't mean they don't have to teach uninteresting things too. You can't just do a seminar like this an understand all of physics.
@Matsui getting retirement earlier cause it's a job that burns you out faster and more than regular jobs. The amount of stress teachers get is unbelievable, yet their mental health is overlooked. When they don't care about teachers it's kids they are harming. At the point they are now they're recruiting anyone cause no sane qualified young person would join education. Guess it's kids who'll get the toll from such experiments.

Honestly that's something I could only dream about a teacher physically showing how physics affect the world instead of some derivations and definitions although I have graduated Collage and did understood the derivative properties of various physical elements I just wasn't ever as enthusiastic about learning it because it's boring to read that thick 800 - 1200 pages book if you get what I mean
