      I'm so happy that she made the superb tribute and a little shocked she doesn't play, her son does....

    Michelle you made this 62 year old dude cry also. CTA was the first album I bought as a 10 year old. Sadly I never saw Chicago live with your dad. A huge regret. Through your work and things like Tanglewood 1970, Carnegie Hall complete, VI Decades live people are finding out he was the man. Makes me smile.

    Not only the original guitarist but also the soul of the band.

    It has always been amusing and patently absurd that Terry is not on any of those "100 greatest" lists. For my money he should be #1 never mind, not even making the cut. Loved the movie and I think Terry is slowly getting the recognition he earned. "Liberation" off CTA is still the high watermark to me for extended guitar solos. The whole band is on fire on that song.

    There was a question on TH-cam recently that asked about the best telecaster players ever and I was sad and frustrated that Terry was not on the list. So many people are forgotten when they die so young. The documentary taught me so much, being a jazz trumpet player myself and loving Chicago’s Music so much. Of course I am inspired to learn guitar now. My favorite story is that they bought a seat on the plane for that guitar.

    Terry Kath doesn’t appear on a Top 100 Guitarist List because he didn’t dominate the band. Chicago wasn’t “all about him”. Each member of the band, especially in the Terry Kath years, was an integral contributor to the music. Terry Kath provided the band with direction. Without Terry Kath, Chicago had to reinvent itself.

    Rolling Stones shouldn't be on anybody's list of 100 most influential magazines for Rock & Roll.
    Clueless to leave Terry off.
    One of the band asked Terry after a solo "What did that guitar do to you, Terry?"

    There's a price tag of $20,000 on this new signature Fender Tele. That's a crying shame. You can go buy 30 top of the line guitars for that price.

    • @Reapprsr1
      @Reapprsr1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's OK because rather than shelling out 20k like some more affluents, one can approximate their own parts Tele. Hey, remember it's a Fender. Believe that TK would appreciate your own effort in building your take on his Pignose Tele. You can't purchase the likeness of TK, but you sure can enjoy his tone, ability, and soul.

      @@bobbyohanesian4228 so the list price is $20k but no one probably actually pays that it's just the family and Fender had ridiculous motive for producing such a concept
