Every Sunday, Lord willing, I would like to read for you all a chapter of God's word (the Authorized Version King James Holy Bible).
I understand if your initial reaction is one of uninterest or indifference, but I do hope you will listen to the words in the best selling Book of all time, which the majority of people in this world, completely dismiss and even mock those who believe it, without knowing what's actually inside it.
We will start in the Gospel of John. But of course, you are encouraged to read ahead if you have a King James Bible.
The Bible has ALL the answers to ALL the questions ANYONE can ask. If you have any questions about life, death, what's going on in the world today, what will happen in the future, etc., then please do let me know, and I will get the answers for you.
[ THE GOSPEL - HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN ]
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
The Gospel message is a simple message that God uses as the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16) to everyone and anyone who would believe.
You can know right now whether or not you are going to enter Heaven when you die. Salvation is a present possession received at the very moment you trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and it can never be lost or forfeited.
We all need to get right with God before we leave this life. And the ONLY WAY we can do that is to accept His invitation to receive His wonderful free gift of eternal life. You can’t work for it, you can’t buy it; you receive His free gift by believing the Gospel; the record God gave of His Son - that the Lord Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) died on the cross to pay for all your sins, and rose again the third day.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Doesn’t it make sense to trust the only One who came back from the dead as your only hope of going to Heaven?
Right now (in the best way you know how), tell the Lord Jesus Christ that you believe in your heart that He paid for your sins when He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and that you trust Him alone to get you into Heaven when you die. Tell Him that you want to be saved from Hell; to be born again, and He will save you!
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life …” 1 John 5:13
Jesus Christ died - that’s history! Jesus Christ died for you and me - that’s salvation!
Many blessings, and thanks for watching!
