I love this guy. Notice how he goes on and on about 'the team' and 'we'. He knows it's a community thing. Gymshark is going to be the highest evaluated clothing brand in 5-10 years time. I'm betting money on it.
This is sick. You completely went against the status quo. Could have just opened a fancy shops with a bunch of lights and crap but this has been thought through and you e made shopping better. Great. Gymshark products are perfect From last year I started ordering so many workout clothes,all of them was perfect,perfect sizing ,perfect quality Delivery also very fast and organized,best customer service they have, I live in Vancouver bc ,it’s been 2 years I just spent my money on gymshark and I’m so happy
I can't think of any other clothing stores that are going to this level of detail and embracing such creative ideas, and especially for gym clothing where people can sometimes feel self conscious it's incredible the work you've done to provide a safe welcoming environment that caters for every customer.
As someone who has regularly been to the store since opening, you have definitely achieved this "community space" which you were going for. The pros and staff have been super accommodating and its a great space to go and hang out in.

I am absolutely in an awe of what you have created. One might think that retail shopping is on the decline since online shopping gets bigger and bigger, but I truly believe you just revolutionized the meaning of retail shopping. I am a massive fan of Gymshark because the goods are superb and because you truly create a sense of community. And I am sure it must have been really tough work to create a store with a soul and personality that reflects all the Gymshark values. All the features are on point, revolutionary and meaningful. Changing rooms are mindblowing. And the store transforming into the gym in the evening? That is absolute fire and unique! Fantastic as a concept but a lot of elements won’t work practically. It’s going to be a money pit with the staffing resources that’ll be required for all functions of the property to run efficiently but wishing you continued success and hope I’m wrong.
I fully agree! Only time will tell. They have done a lot of new concepts and it looks like employees will have to be extremely motivated in order to keep the place running at a good efficiency for all of these concepts to be actually useful. We wish Ben the best!
The shop is on the same street as some of the most expensive brands that charge ten times higher for products, and they don’t sell any accessories or shoes like those brands, so they’ll get lucky to break even on it. I reckon this move is purely for a persona change to attract higher spectrums of the population to buy their products online which would generate much more revenue than they could physically bring into that shop anyway

Ben has built this brand off the back of understanding the power of social media. Even if this store doesn't make fantastic profits, the idea is that it should generate more online sales further down the road which are highly profitable.
Think of it as a marketing expense. I think the aim of this store is to make their brand’s value proposition tangible. It’s a huge leap for them but I think it’s extremely clever. Why have a billboard on Regent Street when you can have a concept store!

I visited the store for the first time today after months of its launch. I was very intrigued by the concept, however I didn’t expect what I saw. The staff member who ran through the concept was amazing. My shock at the pricing of product was a complete mind blower, along-with amazing good looking product which is very affordable. The free gym concept is truly unique and blew my mind. Within hours of my visit I got the app and signed up for a class. I’m not often blown away but Gymshark did exactly that. I can’t wait to become a regular!

I visited 2 weeks ago before this video came out, and I didn't really know what to expect. The fact that there was an actual physical Gymshark store was already very exciting! But omg when I got there I was just mind blown, like really, I feel like the customer experience was perfectly designed, you think about something you will need and it's there. Also FREE classes?!! FREE 121 shopping! The changing room was like no other. Did I hear a prayer room in the staff area? That's something way beyond inclusivity. Just perfect!
Honestly can't wait to visit the store one day, the design and layout is just perfect! The fact that you focus more on the experience for the customer rather than the sales made is amazing and you just get that inclusivity, which makes every experience for each customer so personal. I love Gymshark and what it stands for, such a great achievement!
This is genuinely the future. I've worked for two other major athletic apparel companies and I can see them being too scared, too large or too behind to want to make retail spaces like this. Retail locations can be trifold, a traditional place to buy products, a "warehouse" go fulfill online orders, and a full experience directly tied to the company/brand. Gymshark is one of, if not the only brand nailing the 3rd aspect better than any other brand. Super cool stuff. Waiting to see it come to Canada!
I visited Europe for the first time with my dad this year. We only spent about a day and a half in London and decided to go to Regent St. since it was popular and crowded with all the big brand stores. We were riding down the street when I caught “Gymshark” at the corner of my eye on one of the stores. Best accidental discovery of my life. I ended up being in the store for over 2 hours and but my first pieces of gym wear. I only found out the day after that I had visited the first and only Gymshark store IN THE WORLD. I’m glad I got to experience it but I also regret not buying some more of the exclusive items 😭
