I never thought I would see the day they would be running Stack trains on this line again. Are they only running 2 stack trains a day on this line? I know they were talking about running more stack trains on this line per day. Does anyone know the details about running more stack trains on this line in the future? Thanks.

180 and 181 were added as part of the merger, from Mexico City to Chicago and back. I recall that they have sidings to install as part of the future plans to use trains all the way to the Mexican port on the Pacific, which name I can't recall

Some stacks are run on the manifest trains both St. Paul and Chicago, though not very big amounts. Not sure why they do that.

I know the Elgin Sub. Elgin to Savanna they just added a 2+ mile siding by Monroe Center, Illinois just east of Davis Junction.
