Novelists are beyond amazing, I really didn't think they could top Twenty Years, but they keep surprising me with every release - definitely becoming one of my all time favourite bands
The vocalist is a beast. I was bummed when he left ACTS but this makes up for it. The song isn't too crazy for the guitars and drums but it's solid it enough that he just slays it.
These guys have the potential to go so far, oh my god! They are an accidental discovery for me and holy shit, I've been blown away! Even their cover of Katy Perry's song This Is How We Do is fucking incredible! I will be keeping tabs on these guys for a long time, and I have no regrets about accidentally clicking a wrong link!

What really makes this band almost perfect is the fact that you can hear the emotion, the desperation in Matteo's vocals. Combine that with sheer genius level compositional talents of Florestan and his ability to add an epic feeling to every song they record, to flow from what is literally a vocalized curb-stomp to such a melodic, perfectly stated finish, and it's nothing but amazing. It's been almost a year since I discovered Novelists for myself, and it's been months and months and months of listening and re-listening, always hearing something new, some new nuance that flows from one verse to another. Just mind-numbingly amazing.
This song is ridiculous. I stumbled upon this band when Twenty Years came out and all of their songs are good to me. I love the lyrics on this songs. Keep it up, would buy an album absolutely.
No clue. Not only that but all 3 albums and the demo are masterpieces. All 4 are albums that I can listen to straight thru every time. Such a shame to because they kept getting better each time. This was the last band I fell in love with and I know I won’t find another that got to me like them. The new stuff is great and I loved burning down Alaska but Matteo was incredible as a songwriter and lyricist.

I really don't want to say it 'cos I love you guys but it's not the best song you've released I cant get into it, I love the melodic ending but I just cant feel the previous 4 minutes of the song. I can't seem to get into the rhythm I'm sorry I'm a bit disappointed but I can't wait for the album, and I'll still be buying it. Thank you for your music :)

This band is everything I've been looking for! Pretty much a life changing experience when I listened to the song "Heartfelt". Song was so good it nearly brought me to tears haha! Metal charges onwards with these guys on the front lines!!

the melodies are cool, the djent is very djenty. Novelists is a very very solid band. creative good bands seems to come from FR and OZ nowadays. kudos to the singer for trying to mitigate his accent, cause i can't be bothered. I go full french accent. haha

Metalcore is what the people have wanted. We are sick and tired of rock, everything is soft. The hard bands nowadays (FFDP for example or Mudvayne) just don't have what it takes. This is what metal should have been all along!!
